Hey man I planted my Seeds for Northern Lights Auto yesterday and I knew u had a series which I am watching and loving right now. I just wonder where the last part is? Thank u for your Videos, I love the details, the calmness and your growing skills.
Awesome! I appreciate that! The northern lights harvest starts at 10mins 20seconds: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G4j5pOYaxaY.htmlsi=Nl_4GOxe1YD3z5UZ
I just discovered your videos and I watched all of them. I learned a lot from you and soon I will start as you show me. I have a few questions for you. I would be very happy if you answer. how many ppfd light does the top of the plant in this video get. also how many liters is the pot you use in auto plant. thank you for making such a series, season 1 is a complete lesson.
Thank you!! I really appreciate that! She's getting about 1000ppfd while under 24/0 light after week 2 of bloom. The pots are 27Liters. Seedlings-600ppfd Veg-750ppfd Bloom-1000-1100ppfd
I notice most autoflowers seed sellers seem to suggest between 8-12 week between seed to harvest, but you seem to run yours longer, like over 15. There a reason for this or just how the plant + environment shakes out?
I think it was either because of genetics, ph, or more likely the overwatering from the automation I set up to be away for 14days. The nutrients were also not being agitated before delivery, so it's possible that a lot of the "good stuff" was settled to the bottom of the resevoir.
Awesome, thank you! She yielded 145g dry. The next bloom-video will be up in a week. This video will show the progress of the bubblegum auto, and the end/harvest of the Northern lights!
Thank you!! For a few reasons: Allowing the soil to dry between waterings is important for pest prevention. Fungus gnats will make a home of wet soil. The dry period prevents algae growth on the surface, as well as it creates an inhospitable home for gnats. Overwatering will occur if the soil is watered when wet. For healthy root development, it's important to make sure the root zone is fully saturated. I like to think of it as taking full breaths. You don't want your root zone to be taking shallow, half-breaths. For healthy and vigorous root development from early bloom to late bloom, it's important to have the entirety of the root zone saturated so that roots can continue to grow outwards, from edge to edge of your pot, making the most of the larger pot size. I also love giving a full watering, then not have to water again for 5-6 days sometimes, depending on how rooted the plant is. Fully rooted dry-time is usually about 3days when the soil is fully saturated.
I Started with Photos and still have some Seeds left. Started my First grow with og kush and special queen one from Royal Queen Seeds since Its legal in Germany now too. Iam so excited and i really learn a Lot from your Videos. Is There a possibility for you to grow some fem. Photos in Future too ?
I have never made my own soil, sorry I can't help much there. The soilless growing medium that I use is promix-hp, which doesn't contain any nutrients. I'll use Floranova grow/bloom mixed into water for these plants. The soil I use is from Walmart. It's Schultz premium potting mix (blue bag). For this growing medium I'll just add water, until bloom, where I'll use Floranova bloom mixed into the water.
I do 1 part earthworm castings, 4 parts Hp pro mix and 2 table spoons per gallon of gai green 2-8-4 bloom and of the 4-4-4 all purpose with perlite. This is a fire mix all you do is water til 4-5 weeks in then top dress with 2-8-4
Hey, how do you do the timelapses with your phone are you streaming that or just take a picture every day? I’d love to put my old phone in my tent to have an eye on them anytime but i’m afraid of light pollution 😄got a tipp there for me?
Think he just placed it in the tent, turned on camera and recorded it in timelaps mode. After that he take the clips and cut it for the video. Thats it. Think thats the easiest way - otherwise you will need a Webcam, an PC or virtual machine and software to make pictures and finally software to merge the pictures. Any other idea?
I use interval_camera, or velocity lapse, if interval_camera isn't available on the phone. I set the app to take one picture every hour, then render it to 24 frames per second
Great stuff I think you need to try some better genetics like night owl 🦉 or mephisto maybe rocbud inc… you will see a better end product. Just my 2 cents
Stop lst on autos and your plants will get bigger I don't top or lst anymore did it for 3yrs and now nothing done on my autos they get 42" to 50" tall and yield is much bigger.
@Basementganja the best auto was white Rhino. I grew two of them side by side, and they both looked different from one another, but ea of those plants gave me dry weight around 8.5 oz
@@Mr420guru That's awesome! I'd love to see your garden! You're welcome to join the community discord, to share your plants with us if you'd like to! We're all about sharing knowledge, and learning to produce happy, and healthier plants that yield more :) There's a lot of new growers in there that would benefit from your knowledge. Especially related to nutrients. I'd love to learn more about how you're growing your plants. Here's an invite link: discord.com/invite/Fj3mWRfW
