Woah, so motivational! Thank you for pointing out things to look out for! This helps a ton because I’m going into the IB this fall, and I want to get aquatinted with my options before making a decision on what subjects to take and whether to take them at HL or Sl. Great video and keep it up :)
@@User-0192-c8d yeah I mean I’ve decided on which subjects to take, but now I’m looking more into which to take at high level and which to take at standard level. My subjects are (as of right now) Phys, math aa, English lang and lit, econ, Spanish ab initio, and computer science. So far, I’m set on taking econ, compsci and math at hl and the rest at sl; however, my counselor recommended to also take phys at hl to be on the safer side when applying for college and in case i choose to ever pursue engineering. Therefore, I’ll probably give taking 4 hls a shot and bust down phys or maybe another subj (probably phys tho) if I feel necessary. So yeah, if ur in the same position or were in the same position or even are going to be in the same position then I wish you all the luck and positivity in this world :) thanks for checking up on me; may God bless you🙏.
@@User-0192-c8d also, I’m looking into majoring in computer science after high school; hence, why I took math and compsci at HL( it’s important to note that different unis have different requirements on what to take for certain majors such as computer science). Additionally, Im most probably taking econ at HL in case I choose to take a more humanity subject oriented path later on, and I personally like econ the most out of all the humanities offered. Anyways, yeah good luck with whatever’s going on with you :) Also, if you care to share anything, even if completely unrelated, then know that I’m here for you 😊.

Hey, I’m a incoming first year IB student. I’ve been wondering about which IB science to pick in. I’m stuck between Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I’m studying economics in university, and from what I’ve heard is that math is a crucial component. I’m not that good with mathematics because I haven’t been doing much since middle school due to transferring to many schools. So I’m a bit rusty. I thought of the options; 1. English Literature A SL 2. Mandarin B HL 3. Economics HL 4. Business Management HL 5. Biology/Chemistry 6. Mathematics AA SL Option 2; 1. English Literature A 2. Mandarin B SL 3. Economics HL 4. I got my questionbank questions from my teacher back in high school as I think schools should have access, but if your teachers don't have it at the moment or are not releasing it, you can try past year papers. There used to be a student-created site where there were all the past year papers were uploaded, but I think it has since been taken down. Hey!! Yes, you got it - you can put the video in the background, then study along with whatever you need to do. For myself, sometimes I find it really difficult to even get started on work, so having someone studying in the background along with me (hearing them type and flip pages and all) actually helps motivate me!!!
