Haha yes using the language in your daily life is absolutely crucial. However, I make these videos to show people how they can get the most out of certain resources and how I use them as a language learner :)
You're right. I have been learning English for one year by using this way I mean watching videos about how to learn English but now I find my self too far from fluency . Thanks.
I'm an English professor and RU-vidr from the United States, so I'm not an English learner. But I sometimes watch other RU-vidrs that teach English because I'm just interested to see their different methods and styles (even if I can't understand the native language-I use the translator). Anyway, I just wanted to say that I thought your videos are really good. They're very clear, and they have useful lessons that will help learners a lot. I'm always happy when I get an encouraging comment, so I like to also give encouraging comments when I see someone else like you doing a good job. You're doing great work…I hope you keep it up!
when i watch your youtube channel, i start to use all in english, i practice outputting. I never really want to improve english right now, it's really helpful for me. Thanks alot
I would say that leaving a comment is not that harder then just watching video and one more thing. I also think that passively watching yt videos in your goal language is also a good thing. You know just watching it as a background to some other activity, because you still listening to the speech and it helps to keep some level also
4:58 Thanks for the advice, Follow your interests is a great way to learn English because It's not boring. Have a nice day, Veronika! You're such a great teacher.
Amazing, i was check some strategie to improve my English and then i have just found it. So i don't comment the youtube video but i think that i must be start. So thanks for this video. However i have one question and my question is : what i can do to understand very well the native speaker in the podcast because i love hear the podcast in English but i don't understand very well.
if i understand most than 80 % words and sentences that u talk on ur video what level am i ?, that's real curious cause sometimes i get myself struglling about talking to native speaker that real support me to reach/ achieve the real meaning of a phrase but sometimes do not feel so confident talking in a long conversation maybe cause i don't want to bother somebody asking for repeat everysingle sentence to i can i don't know tranlate in my mind or just do not mistake 1 word that can change meanings. like ur videos a lot.
Don't be afraid to speak to native peoples instead its so good because practise its the key. I personally feel like you but we must know that speaking with a native or live in that country its one of the best ways to learn a language. (I also understand Veronika's videos almost 80% like you. Sometimes i dont understand some special word but i get the meaning of the sentences very well and i think thats B2 level)✨️
Which English dictionary is better for learning American English? I am using the Longman Dictionary downloaded from the Apple App Store, but feel that this dictionary is better for learning British English.
-Lay out a clear idea of what you want to make content on -Settle on a channel name -Clearly determine when you have time to work on making videos and build a daily routine around that even if it’s just 15 minutes a day, being consistent is important -Watch tutorials on how to edit and caption videos -Try to find things that are popular in the area you are trying to make content on. Having recognizable things could draw in early subscribers -Have something you can work on on the side while you pursue this so you don’t burn out and also so you have a fallback -Talk to friends and see if you have any that are willing to help make videos or give reviews and advice on how to make your videos better
Hi Veronica ❤ I'm from Uzbekistan, I'm watching all of your videos, they are very helpful to boost speaking, I love your speech so I decided to use your videos for shadowing 🤩
I am following higher studies. I wanna mostly English language continue my studies. I watching many tutorials in you tube and I am write down difficult words to me . but when I am talking somebody I can t remember what s word I wanna put my sentence . I waste time for a thinking and translating with my native language. what to do me develop my spoken ability. And I really like your videos.♥
Don't focus on learning grammar. Lately i have found out that watching movies with subtitles, reading books and watching RU-vid videos its the best way to learn a language because if you focusing in learning grammar , when you are with a native speaker its difficult to remember all the prepositions and grammar rules in a second and you might get messed up with words :)
I agree with you Veronika. RU-vid is a great resource we have to learn different things. I remember when I started learning English in 2020, your RU-vid channel was one of the first ones I came across. I've learnt a lot from you. You give inspiration and are such good role model to follow. I really look up to you! Greetings ❤✨💯
@@DailylifeinUSA-dc1re What I do is to look for good resources on the internet (videos, web sites, etc) and take my time to learn little by little with patience. I think the most important thing is enjoy what you do. Learning a new language takes time, but everyone finds their own learning Styles. Being deciplined is crucial as well
I'm not good at English and I want to improve my English. I agree with you Veronica that youtube is amazing resource to learn a language and many other things can be learned from here. I came across your video and started following.. ❣
Hi 👋 Veronika. I'm from Uzbekistan. You belive) I have recently finished watching your all of videos from the first vlog to this video . All videos were so useful for me. As I watched your videos, I really wanted to be as you as. If you come to Uzbekistan of course I wanna meet with you and I really respect you. By the way I will take exam on 21st October pls tell the luck)
You can learn by watching videos from people who make content not with the purpose of teaching a language, it’s more just daily life, podcast, travel blogs, etc…
I just remember the first video I watched on youtube, it was fourteen years ago in the MIT OpenCourseWare Channel, I loved to watch the Physics classes by Walter Lewin, I also watched some Multivariable Calculus classes in that channel prepared by other professor, for me at that time it was like watching the future of Education
Thank you so much for your video. I mostly watch different types of RU-vid channels and not only learn English but also learn crucial things from them. I prefer to watch vlog videos because it's real life conversations and I can easily understand and apply them in my conversations as well. You are always recommended for effective techniques for us.
You have said in your video at 7:04 reels point. You can save it to (ankhi) this way you will growing vocabulary. What's the meaning and actual spelling of ankhi? Please reply.
Смотрю RU-vid и периодически фильмы/сериалы на английском уже много лет. Язык, конечно, улучшился, смотрю многие фильмы/сериалы без субтитров, но говорю на английском по-прежнему с трудом.
I think shadowing also helps you to understand the other speaker. While you are shadowing you're trying to remember what that person said. I think when you do it you are linking words together so you understand what is said. I am not thinking in my native language while i am typing this. I think i am getting better. Some methods of you really helped me to learn english. Thank you. Can you make a video about how to use anki with details. I think you mastered that aplication so maybe a tutorial video would help everyone here. I don't use anki. Bcs when you remind the application the word just dissappears but i want it to be permanently reachable. Please😢
It was a good and useful video, thanks for your input Veronika. Now, I would like to know some RU-vid channels according levels not only those teachers RU-vidrs
