I've been hooked on this channel. I was out lake fishing in my canoe with my spinning rod (I've always just used spinning rods) when I noticed the amount of bugs on the water. Must have been a big hatch. The fish started rising all around me by the dozen, even a couple feet from my boat. A few smacked my lures but I couldn't entice a single one to do more. I swore to myself that I would learn to fly fish and this channel has been pure gold. If I wasn't in the Canadian Rockies, I'd stop in to the store.
I put a wetsuit on with a snorkel and a mask and you can kind of really read the water on top and then look at it through the snorkeling mask. Truly an amazing way to see where the fish are sitting
I just wanted to say hi and I love your videos they are really helping me my grandpa gave my all the equipment I need to start fly fishing weighter, boots, fly and a rod and reel and I don’t want it to just sit in my room your videos are a major help with the learning curve
Great opening and just LOVE the ducK tape/handyman's helper on the wall. Set looks really nice too. Think I'm going to make a trip soon up to Ohio and pay y'all a visit from 'ol Acworth,GA. Thanks again!
Brian read that when he was 19 or 20? It' must have been written on cuneiform on clay tablets! That's all well and good but what about those of us who fish warm water?
