Just about the best setup I've seen in a two-door rig.

You should do a quick video with those cast iron tricks you mentioned

I agree with a previous comment about saving money on the bigger gas/propane cans, also it may be better to store them in the boxes on your roof as you don't want to be sleeping with a leaky can etc. If you look at my car I have mine mounted on the rear bar, you could also mount it to the roof rack easy enough... Good luck with the journey mate :)

You need a dual battery setup with a deep cycle battery as an auxiliary source otherwise everything looks awesome!

get a one gallon propane tank and mount on back or side rack of jeep... you will save a lot of money not buying those little 1 lb bottles and you will save a lot of space. you can fill the gallon bottle for less than the price to buy one of the little green 1lb bottles. 1 gallon equals over 7 of the little green 1lb bottles so thats a huge savings

Been watching your vids for a while now, actually since before you started out on your trip. I’m an OG jake subscriber as well, from when he was still living on his sailboat. I would love to do the things you guys do, but at 6’2” I definitely don’t fit in the back of my TJ! Keep it up, you’re doing great, and hopefully we’ll meet up on the road someday.

Ya man! I think I remember you from back a long time ago... there’s always LJ! But I’m sometimes happy I’m not very tall, helps me fit in stuff like this!
@TheDeafJeep
@TheDeafJeep 3 года назад
@@TheTrevorMartin I would love to have a LJ! They’re just so expensive now... I’ve actually seen 4 door JKs with less miles that were cheaper. I’m definitely more of a lurker than a commenter, but I enjoy watching your stuff. And #tallpeopleproblems....

@@Kylejeepadventures oh man that is one of my dream trips to do, and in one of my favorite jeeps to boot. I hope he records it! I’d definitely watch all of that. And camping with these smaller jeeps, a tent is almost an necessity.
