So basically she ate 1600 calories and exercised away 600 calories for 4 out of the 7 day week, giving her a 2lb (or more) a week deficit. That's roughly 40-50 lbs in 5 months. This is a good and safe way to lose weight. :) I will take up the suggestion to do spin classes! Sounds fun.

Peach Pixie or just eat a 1000 calories a day with mild exercise & you’ll still lose weight but it’s better to do what she did as there’s less chance of putting it back on. Losing weight is 80% food 20% exercise, but you still have to eat healthy with no junk food for it to work, plus food portions too.

Eating under 1500 calories per day doesn't sound so healthy to me unless you have a small frame, just my personal opinion though. When you exercise while eating not enough calories your body doesn't do so well over a longer period of time. She said that she lost weight before but got it back on again multiple times. This could be an indicator for an unsustainable weight-loss approach. Nevertheless every person is different when it comes to the amount of calories their body needs in order to function properly in general and while exercising consistently. It is a matter of trial and error after all to find the right thing for you. I'm not expert by any means and this is just my personal opinion. This is also not meant to be a hate comment towards her in any way, I just wanted to share my view on this topic.

You should set your goal to something higher and then once you get there keep going if you want. That’s what helped me. Set your goal to 160 first.

Bad Gyal hey so basically what I’ve been doing is intermittent fasting and 1200 calories a day. I’ve always had a big appetite ever since I was a kid and that’s been one of the things that’s made is hard for me to lose weight because small portions just don’t satisfy me. So now, I only eat one large meal a day that gives me all my calories. (You can do 2 slightly smaller meals if you don’t want too big of a meal). I only eat between 3pm and 8pm. I’ve also been trying my best to get at least 2 litres of water in a day. I haven’t been doing any exercise yet but I’m going to start going on walks soon so hopefully that will help too. @@sierrawright6837 For me, I'm just drinking a lot of water and maintaining a calorie deficit. So, I still eat junk food but I've learned how to limit what I eat. I also eat lots of fruits now, and got rid of soda. For exercise, I weight train 3-4 times a week, and I'm also a busser at a restaurant which requires me to run around and carry heavy trays. :)

I would recommend trying keto if serious about finding a natural weight loss agent. This link has some good info on the benefits of keto mootfat.xyz I've used it so far from the new year and has helped me lose 10 lbs with a supporting diet. Green tea is also good, do some research!

1. Do it for yourself (dont be stress) 2. Consistent (do not give up) 3. Eating healthy (after 2 or 3 weeks it gotta be easier) 4. Limiting my portions (cutting out soda, cuting out restaurant food) step by step. Then yout body gotta reject unhealthy food 5. Counting calories (any request app?) 6. Exercising(with group is the best for your mental health) 7. Checked the scale once in month 8. Do not beating yourself! y'all must watch for more information. This video is so amazing. I noticed that I started gaining weight last year. I had always been between 131 and 139 lbs. So, the gaining weight with the quarantine combined, I ended up at 175 lbs! Never in my life have I been this heavy. It makes me so sad, but knowing that others can do it makes me so motivated to lose it.

I maintained 132-135lbs all throughout high school as a dancer with a lot of muscle, went up to 142 my first two years in college and stopped dancing, then the pandemic hit and now I’m at my heaviest at 170 with mostly fat =[ it’s been so hard but im getting my motivation back!

1. Mentality - you have to do it for yourself and be dedicated to losing weight 2. Consistency - don't give up. Your body takes time to adjust to new habits and the first few weeks will be hard 3. Eating - limit portions and control your eating; BE MINDFUL of the signals your body tells you (ex. when you are full) 4. Counting Calories - use an online calculator to determine the amount of calories you should eat in a day and then use app to track it 5. Exercising - find a workout that you enjoy; don't stick to the elliptical if you hate it; find other workouts (ex. spinning, yoga, volleyball, Zumba) 6. Tracker - use a tracker to count your steps and calories burned; keeps you accountable 7. Don't check the scale often - it can be discouraging, try to check it once a month

Megan Schmidtknecht ...I agree with the first 3 and part of 4. the first 3 are important, and it is important to make sure you get enough calories, but don't "count" calories ya know? that can lead to dangerous behaviors such as anorexic tendencies. but if you're serious about losing weight and getting in shape, don't let "cheat days" ruin it for you. get used to healthier foods before you start to have days where you gorge, cause if not it can screw you over.. trust me.

From my own experience with weight loss, I can say that “ProVen" is a perfect supplement for those who are struggling to lose fat. I’m here at 160 pounds trying to get back at 120. Will keep updates every month. Wish me some luck :). hi guys I was supposed to post this yesterday but I kind of forgot. I have been trying to lose weight for a long time but recently I have realized just saying you are going to do something and then delaying it for “one day” or “one week” and then forgetting about it isn’t going to get you anywhere. I have been going out for about 4 out of the 7 days in the week to run in the trails near my home and have been trying to walk about 10,000 steps each day more or less. I’ve tried to drink so much more water then what I usually drink which is Nothing (you know not to lie). For me with my height and weight I need to be drinking 8 glasses of water and be consuming 1,200 calories to lose weight. In the past few weeks my life has been challenging from going from not being really active and waking up late to waking up at 6 or 7 and going for a walk or jog. I have gone down to 155 which is good for me. Mind you that I started trying to lose weight a few days before watching this video and what keeps me motivated is that if a few weeks or eating well and exercising has made me go down 5lb than in the months to come at the rate I’m going at I can Hopefully reach my goal. Although if any of you read this don’t think that if you are trying really hard and one month you do well and another month you don’t do as well use that as a way to demotivated yourself. ♥️. I will do more updates next month see y’all.

I love this video, thank you for sharing! I was a little sad yesterday because I realized it took me 3 weeks to lose 6 pounds but that comes up to a healthy weight loss of 2 pounds a week. I guess we’re so used to seeing other people lose it so fast and that’s not always the case with everyone.

I started my weight loss journey in January and I am three months in and I’ve lost almost 20 pounds. I started at 161 and currently I am at 142 pounds. Personally, I have three different goal weights, just because I don’t know how I will look. My first goal is 130, my second is 120 and my final weight loss goal would be 110. I expected to lose all 30 pounds in three months, but it didn’t happen- i just keep pushing and I know everyone losses weight at different levels, but i hope by june i will weigh 120. I will do a monthly update

Oh wow! I said the same thing! I have to see what I look like at a particular weight to decide if that is my goal as well. People think I am crazy for saying this! Hearing you say your current weight and that you’re big boned and it’s a healthy weight for you really helped me. I feel like I never see someone who looks as healthy as you do, and says 140-150 is their goal weight. My weight also seems to fluctuate frequently all the time, my lowest being 120 and me practically eating nothing and being a cardio bunny because for some reason i thought I had to be under 120 to be considered thin and healthy. (Not true for my body type either) it was refreshing to watch this and see your take. I also relate to hating having pictures taken of me. When I gain weight it shows up in my face a lot. :( this video is really inspiring though, I agree mentality is really important

I’ve been on a journey to lose weight - I felt exactly how she said at the beginning (tired, depressed and I would be the picture taker, hated being on photos). I’m almost two months in and already lost an amount of 18 pounds. I just found this video and if I’m honest, of all the videos I’ve watched this is the one that has seemed the most real and honest. That "all or nothing"thinking is definitely detrimental. It's kind of a perfectionist type of mentality that definitely is reinforced by the "diet culture" of being rigid and following rules strictly without giving ourselves a little bit of grace to know we won't be perfect the whole time. As long as we are consistent a healthy mindset, we will progress positively. Nice video.

I wish I had seen this video sooner! My starting weight is 235 lbs, and I’m now at 232 lbs. My goal is 140 lbs. I’ve been going on a diet for a few weeks now, and I have noticed that I’m starting to want to eat healthier foods and to exercise, and I just started upping my game because I’m not losing fast enough. I’m cutting out unhealthy foods, eating smaller portions, and exercising. This is the first time I’ve ever felt this way, and I’m so excited to be back to the weight I used to be. I think that what she says in the beginning is KEY: her body has always easily lost and gained weight, as well as some other people in her family. That is key to understanding that all bodies are different and what works for her may not work for you, you might have a slower metabolism, you may simply have different genetics, and that's okay. Don't force it. Mental health is just as important, be gentle, be forgiving with the ways bodies change.

I am so happy that you mentioned how you eat something unhealthy you say “well it’s ruined I should just eat what I want then” that has always been my downfall in the past. But since I realized (like epiphany style) that it didn’t ruin all my hard work that week, but binge eating for two day until Monday would hurt my goals. I’ve watched a lot of videos but this is probably the biggest realization I had to keep me motivated.

I have a divided eating plate. 1/2 of the plate I fill with vegetables. 1/4 of the plate I use for proteins. 1/4 of the plate I use for carbs. So if I want a nice salad (I actually like salads, but not with Iceberg Lettuce) I put the greens and chopped nonstarchy veggies in the large section. The protein (feta cheese? black beans? sliced steak? combination?) get put in one of the smaller sections. Carbs (fruit? grain? beetroot? carrot?) in the second small section. Then I scoop it from the small sections onto the greens. That way, I don't cheat. Same thing with stir fries. I dish it out, properly, then mix it together once it is on the plate. If I have soup, it depends upon the type of soup. Noodle, potato, or rice based soups replace the carb section. Bean, cheese, or meat based soups replace the protein section, and I still have extra vegetables to fill me up. Sandwiches get sliced in half, each half fits into one of the smaller sections, and I fill the large section with enough veg to fill me up. This really does help me control my portions and it makes me think about nutrition. Oh, and one of my meals is simply an avocado with egg baked in the pit hole. I'm never hungry after that. I’m 5”4 and at my heaviest I was 143. I was eating out everyday, if not more than once a day (Mcdonalds, Taco Bell, etc.) I finally stopped eating out completely, cut out all drinks besides water, coffee, and tea, and began working out for 30-60 minutes 5 days out of the week. I am now down to 131 and I’m on my fourth week of working out (1 month)

I’ve noticed as long as ur making ur food at home and not eating heaping amount of food at a time it shouldn’t really matter what exact food ur eating

Lois I’m now down to 125 pounds and I eat around 1200-1500 calories a day. I burn 1500 calories a day resting if I don’t exercise (use a calculator to figure out ur calories burned resting) so on a day I work out and am constantly doing things probably around 2000 calories.

I'm also 5'4 and the heaviest I've ever been was 175 lbs and I'm down to 168 lbs but my goal is 120 lbs or 115 lbs I like to be out and exercise but quarantine really hit me and now I'm starting to get out and be more active so I'm excited to lose this weight and become more healthy

I was literally teased and beaten up by someone who ended up being a personal trainer. I was teased so much by this person and all of his friends. I now literally do muscleups, lost 40lbs and have run 25 half marathons and studied so hard and skyrocketed my career. I can harness that feeling and can go back to anytime of being teased and feeling so low to actually give me power. Let those moments make you stronger. It can be your fuel. You can do this!

This video really made me cry because I became depressed as well. I started to have alot of anxiety and panic attacks because of my weight.Im currently 192 i just went to the doctor last week and my doctor said in order to control my attacks and stress (from the excess weight and panic attacks ) i must start working out or at least meditate. This is definitely the biggest I've ever been . I HATE TAKING PICTURES!. And I definitely need to change my lifestyle ... and thats on PERIODT sis!

my workout & meal plan: *workout gloves to prevent callouses when necessary, workout partner, take your time, perfect form, challenge yourself, don’t worry about what other people are doing/look like, take advice from trusted sources (doctors, nutritionists, workout experts, etc.), have fun! 1. Choose 2-3 flexibility stretches & 2-3 specific muscle prep stretches, hold for 1+ min each 2. Choose one yoga pose to work and improve on to feel more calm and central within body 3. Choose a type of cardio for warmup 5-10 min 4. Choose 4 exercises for one/group of major body part(s) or full body strengthening exercise- legs (calves & glutes & thighs), back, shoulders, arms (biceps & triceps), stomach (abs & obliques), chest *can be weightlifting, pilates, zumba, machines, dance, etc. 5. Choose # of reps per set (3 sets total) per exercise, try hiit workout *break 30-60sec between sets *1-9=brute strength, 10-20=endurance strength 6. Cardio (running, biking, jump roping, swimming, etc.) 20-30+ min 7. Stretch & foam roller/massage muscles 5-10+ min - 10% fat, 40% fruits & vegtables, 25% protein, 25% carbs per meal - as many organic and all natural products as possible - eat meals made with ingredients I can pronounce - green tea! - more than half of body weight in oz of water per day - necessary vitamins (I take fish oil, b12, biotin, collagen, & probiotics- or eat foods high in these nutrients) - eat until full and satisfied, not stuffed - get heart rate up as much as possible to lose weight

I was about 150 2 years ago and i’m 200 now:( i was 135 4 years ago, had a depression and started working from home...i don’t move much anymore. I used to need to go somewhere and walk. And now when i stop working there’s a curfew! So i can’t even go out to walk -.- that’s frustrating

I’m the same way! Going to the gym is really stressful. Since January I’ve been getting so much healthier from home. I started with going for 20-40 min walks in February then moved to Fitness Marshall playlists in March, I just finished Chole Ting’s “Flat Tummy” 28 day challenge yesterday (end of May) which I combined with Yoga with Adrienne 30-day HOME series. I feel great and look great. For context, I started at about 200lbs (5’8”) and have severe social anxiety (thus why the gym was an obstacle). This month (June) I’m doing Ting’s Summer Shred 2020 and continuing Yoga with Adriene and adding additional cardio. Taking it month by month and seeing what feels good and non-toxic motivators has made a huge difference. I haven’t weighed myself again and don’t intend to for a while, but clothes that were super tight are now loose, things that were hard to lift now feel like nothing, and people have commented on how fit I’ve gotten. We have different starting points, but in regards to anxiety I found a confidence building phased approach has been so helpful also Yoga With Adriene has done wonders for all aspects of my health including feeling calm which is particularly helpful as this is being written during quarantine

There is a lot of work out videos on RU-vid. I've lost 10 pounds using them. Mainly, it's a meal prepping, I recently learned 80% is nutrition and 20% is exercising. There are also RU-vid videos on meal prepping too just find a nutritional plan that works for you.

personally i hate the gym, especially because i know so many people or if i’ll make excuses about why i can’t go out. there are so many home workouts though and i’ve lost so much weight with them. i reccomend madfit and gabriella whited because they have short workouts so you’ll end up doing loads

Hi, I totally agree with all of what you said in your video, and also what I noticed was getting headaches and I read somewhere that's the readjustment of your body getting used to getting rid of the toxins from your body. And since I've started Ive lost 5kg and I'm going to keep on going, my health is more important to me than anything else at the moment.

I finally have found my motivation after eating horribly for awhile and these videos are helping. I weigh 165 and want to get down to 130. I want to feel okay in a bathing suit and all those cute summer clothes. I suffered with anorexia for a year of my life back in high school and that was not sustainable. This time around I want to eat, but to eat the right stuff instead of starving myself. I want this to be a lifestyle change not just a temporary diet. Girl so proud of you! I also started gaining a insane amount of weight due to covid and not being so happy but I realize that my kids need me to be happy healthy and energized so I started doing all these things you did before I even watched this video!!! I'm happy to say I have lost 15 pounds im 171 right now but 145 is my goal im so happy I found this video its like not all is lost!! Okay. I am from greece. And i would be a normal, skinny girl. Then. Me my father and brother went to germany. To live there. Oof *sighs* I gained 60 pounds. And as a 13 yr old girl. Thats *ALOT*. So, i decided to ask my dad to go to a gym. We asked all the gyms at the city, and people can go to the gym from 16+ year old... I would cry for that.... So, i waited 1 year..... Without even dieting. After that... I would feel soooooo sad and bored. I began to eat salads, before i go to school, to drink a smoothie and NO sugar.. After 1 month i lost 4 pounds. I was so happy for that and became vegeterian... After 6 months, i became ME! AGAIN! so dont stop!! Everyone can lose weight!!! Good luck! *edit* : oml! Ive never had that many likes! And keep going! Get healthy! 😊

I love this! I am 20 and gained weight in late high school and in college. I have gone from 188 (January 2018) to 150 now and have 5 more pounds to lose. The part about your body rejecting the unhealthy food is so true for me. I counted calories as well and ate more veggies and reduced my fat intake. I still love the taste of fried and unhealthy foods, but my body gets terrible indigestion now if I have fried foods. I also was a giant candy fiend, and since cutting weight and eating better, I still love candy, but I don't crave candy as much as I did before. :)

You’ve inspired me to go to a spin class. My sw was 220, currently 215 and my goal weight is 145. Started with a calorie deficit and working out for 30 minutes 5 days a week, it’s been 3 weeks now and has been difficult but I feel so much more energetic. I’ll definitely take some of these tips to help me hit my goal weight!
