Hey Divya, I started intermittent fasting with you when you where in delhi (obviously inspired by you) after that i have lost around 12 kg most of it was my post covid weight. I have start gaining again (hormonal issues) now after watching this video i will start my journey again. Also keep up the good work❤
Very well explained❤ I have an issue i can fast for longer time very easily...but the problem is i can't have dinner earlier than 10 or 11 p.m this is only the problem Because we have only dinner to eat with family...basically its our family time

Hey Divya!! Thanks for the motivation!! I’m in Melbourne studying for my masters just like you used to, and after being a certain weight for years, i suddenly put on 7 kg because of assignments, exams, house chores, part time work. Especially the meal timings went haywire! And just couldn’t push myself to practise yoga in the Melbourne cold (especially since i’m from mumbai and didn’t know what cold meant until now🤭) HATEEE THAT NO JEANS FIT ME ANYMORE WHEN I WORE JEANS SINCE LIKE 6-7 YEARS AND THEY NEVER FELT TIGHT BEFORE. Since my semester just ended yesterday definitely going to start intermittent fasting for the first time ever from tomorrow along with an hour of yoga. Let’s see how it goes. 😀
Thanks Divya, this is huge and I'm sure will be appreciated by masses as we all have struggled with this topic. I guess the key here is "Healthy Manner" as loosing weight is not difficult, some do it by going under a knife while others by popping pills however loosing it quickly in a healthy manner is very important and I'm glad you have touched this topic.

Mam kya hum 16:8m timing change kar sakte h jaise ek din mne 5.30pm - 10.30 , kabi 8 pm to 12 pm,10 pm - 2. Esa kar sakte means meri 16 hrs fasting m karti hu but time esa ho jata hai

Hi Divya! Thank you for your video. I am glad you mentioned about eating disorders and how a dietician should be referred to in such cases. But in most IF videos, I don't see a lot of mention regarding acidity. How staying on empty stomach for a few hours after waking up can cause acidity, excessive bile secretion and this might also lead to stomach ulcers. Have you experienced this personally or would you happen to know someone who may have dealt with this in their IF journey? Many thanks! :)
Hi dear. Some people may face this issue but honestly I haven’t and the people in my family and friend circle haven’t either. May be body needs time in adjusting and instead of being empty stomach having green tea might help. I’m not sure. I’ll read about this and consult others and as soon as I have an answer, will come back to you! ❤

I started with 18:6 fasting. My dinner ends at 6 pm and the fast ends at 12 noon. I'm going through a very sedentary lifestyle post severe accident and surgery. So this sort of fasting is working fine with me since I don't have too many activities to do to burn too many calories.😊😊
