Whats up guys! My name is Kenji and I am currently a medical student at King's College London after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science (BMedSci). In this video, I explain how I became completely paperless as a medical student in university.

Great summary ... so I have notability good notes and one note and defo is a life changer from paper... I love that I can just press ctrl F just to find something like a keyword especially if I’m doing something like PBL research and I know it’s in a lecture summary I made notes from saves so much time, space etc. I use all of the platforms for separate things but as I got a few notebooks for when I started uni as presents I’m currently still making rough notes on them but can’t wait till I’m done with the books😬

Great video 😃 I started going paperless not so long ago, best decision ever! It can seem like an expensive solution but long term it's totally worth it! (specially for 6+ years of med school 😅)

Thanks so much! I use the Samsung Tab S4 and it works really well. You have to get used to it a little but I definitely find it quite easy. 😊

The main premium feature is the ability for the app to search for text within your PDFs it find them easier, and for me that's quite an important thing! Thanks so much

Thank you, I'll be trying evernote now! What apps do you use for handwritten notetaking on your Samsung tablet? I have the same tablet and have been using squid but I want more capability with organising the notes, for example keeping first year med content spereate from second, do you know any apps where this is possible on the samsung tab? Or how do you keep it organised with your handwritten notes on the tablet?

I use Squid as well! Organisation was difficult but if you name them appropriately it works well

I've just bought the ipad pro 128gb and im still hesitating if I should return it and buy the ipad air 4 256gb... I'm in med school so i will use it just for note taking, lectures, lots of books and pdfs... Should i stay with the pro 128gb (is enough?) or should I buy the Ipad air 4 256 gb?? The only thing that concerns me is the storage. Is 128gb enough for just medical school stuff or do I need more than that?????

Nora Evernote stores all your documents in the cloud, except for a few you choose to keep locally, so you don’t need a vast amount of storage on your device. Store a document locally if you know you might want to work on it but won’t have internet access. Once you work it out a lot of material can be stored in the cloud.

I would go for the air, if you don't plan on doing pro things like editing you'll get through perfectly fine on the air. Most of the things I store are on the cloud so 128 should be enough!

Does anyone know if there is a big difference between one note and Evernote?

Evernote is more for storing notes that don't require organisation and more for general note keeping and taking. Onenote is more for the purpose of making notes for lectures or classes and organising them into classes/categories

LML Storage in Evernote is a bit different in structure to OneNote but they both achieve similar ends regarding storage although Evernote has the better search facility. Been using Evernote for about 7 years and did dabble with OneNote to try it but saw no reason to change. OneNote, does, perhaps, offer better integration with Microsoft software but didn’t see enough of an advantage to change. As they are similar, wonder why Kenji uses both.

Hmm.. I have a little anxiety now. Im a mature student and I dont want to go paperless, but this video is convincing but going paperless it seems like a lot of work and change.

As a student, I do understand that going paperless could remove the hassle through one's work. Hahaha, unfortunately I cant go paperless coz Im broke as hell.😅 I only got my laptop but i still write on my notes.😆
