Overnight oats: Combine 1 cup rolled oats (regular or protein), 1/2 cup vanilla cashew/coconut yogurt, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 3 Tbsp chia seeds, 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup, 1 heaping tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cardamom, and a pinch of salt. Top with anything: jam, fruit, nuts, nut butter, coconut flakes, etc. I love dried blueberries and slivered almonds.

As someone who has suffered with severe sibo in the past, I KNOW the struggle. Animal Foods caused me a huge moral dilemma but be kind to yourself - you're doing so great and the food looks AMAZING! You need to do what best supports the healing of your gut. I am almost one year fully healed and I so rarely suffer with the issues that I was previously experiencing daily! Love that the vlog style and food posting is back 🥰

I'm so sorry to hear something is going on with Natalie. I love whenever your sister is on your channel and I ADORE her tiktoks. So I also don’t have a funnel and I know I can easily order one, but I don’t. I normally use parchment paper and make it into a cone shape and it works like a charm!

Mopping is also my least favorite chore but something that helps me is breaking up the tidying and counter wiping for one day and the vacuuming and mopping for the second day. It can feel overwhelming to have to do everything at once, especially if you have a cleaning top-down mentality like I do.

Doing the FODMAP diet as someone who is lactose intolerant and doesn’t eat meat was so hard, it felt like I just couldn’t eat anything lol! Definitely understand your struggle!

I’m around the same age as you and I’m also going through recovery for severe GI issues. I used to be vegetarian, but at this point, I have to eat whatever I have to manage my severe digestive problems, including chicken, eggs, yogurt, and fish. Hope things get better for you. :) (Also my washing machine in my apartment just broke too rofl)

So good to see you vlog. Chicken is a good source of protein, I’ve recently just incorporated chicken and it’s helped me a lot of my health journey especially gaining energy. You’re so transparent but don’t worry of others 👏🏼

Missed your vlogs! As someone who's been dealing with severe health issues over the past few years I just wanted to say I understand the difficulties in needing to stop certain aspects of your life in order to prioritise your health, gradually switching from being vegan to a meat-eater and the discomfort surrounding that, and your feelings around your sister's health issues - I think earlier on in my illness I was quite self-absorbed about it (though I think that's understandable!) but as time has passed I've come to realise the emotional impact it has on my friends and family too. So I'm thinking of you both and sending solidarity xxx

Thank you for sharing this part of your life. It was very validating when I hear someone else talk about health problems I suffer from. We have a very similar diet. I love that forager yogurt! Also I put my over night oats in the same jam jars 😂 keep taking good care of yourself darling❤️

I can’t even tell you how much I would value being able to chat with you about adding chicken into your diet / dealing with food intolerance and chronic illness. I have always related to you a lot but never more than right now as I just found out I likely have Hashimoto and I’m thinking of adding chicken into my diet after 10 years as a vegetarian which is a huge moral dilemmas but feels essential for my health. Do you have any tips at all for how to get comfortable with trying to eat chicken again after years without / any recipes or meals you recommend? I feel a lot of guilt and stress about it so I’m sorry to ~trauma dump on you but truly appreciate your honesty on here always. You’re a lovely person 💛

As someone who's had to do this for my health - I would recommend approaching eating the chicken with a sense of love and gratitude to the animal. Remember that we are all on this earth together and that it's natural and part of the cycle of life for animals to eat other animals, and have gratitude for that chicken whose life has ended early so that you can nourish your body in the way it needs. Allow yourself to feel whatever comes up, though - it's okay to feel upset. Remember that your health is important and you deserve to be well and don't need to feel guilty about that (although it's totally understandable that you do). Practically speaking, if it's accessible to you you can buy chicken from animals who have been raised well and lived happy lives (organic, grass-fed is even better but especially expensive.) And if eating meat is difficult for you taste/texture wise (it was for me), just very very gradually add it in to pre-existing meals, so it's just a tiny but at first, don't push yourself. Good luck!

totally understand the guilt with eating animal products. i was vegan as well and had to stop bc i was developing a guilt relationship with food. you gotta do what’s best for you and your health! you aren’t able to do everything mother nature needs, but mother nature needs everything that you are able to do. been watching you since your high school days, sending love to you and your family 🤍

I was vegan for 5 years & now I’m not. I eat chicken & seafood, eggs, & some dairy. Everyday I feel guilty when I eat it, but I was deteriorating when vegan 😢

I also struggled with SIBO + was vegan at the time and it was so hard because the diet was very restrictive. I started eating eggs and dairy (which surprisingly doesn't cause me any issues which I am still shocked by - I will get a stomach ache from oat milk but not regular milk for eg). I know how hard it is to navigate all of this. Did you ever go on the antibiotic treatment? I really swear by it and it was the best thing I did at that time - I still have issues here and there but definitely not that severe!

I’ve also been adjusting my diet by reintroducing animal products and although I was happily vegan, I developed some severe skin issues, food allergies and food anxiety that forced me to reassess what I was eating. Just wanted to let you know we support you 💓
