Thank you for taking time out to make this video! Its LITT! 🔥🔥 I was on my way to drop-shipping random products that sell on TikTok but now I want to just create digital products based on my purpose/passion; things that I'm knowledgeable on. Thank you because this video was RIGHT ON TIME! I appreciate you Essence!
I have been watching so many RU-vid videos about starting a digital project business and finally came across a video I feel that I can trust. Great info!! Thanks for sharing! I just subscribed and purchased your marketing starter kit bundle. 😊
Thank you so much for supporting! I'm happy that my experience has turned into helpful information! If you need any help with the bundle feel free to shoot me an email! ✨
Great question, so in the video I mention that I used the dropshipping method. Dropshipping is a method where you work with a supplier/vendor who holds all of your inventory and when you get sales, they pack and ship the order directly to the customer. So I never had a warehouse and I never packed or shipped a single order, my supplier basically did all of the work. That's why print on demand is the perfect way to recreate the biz model i used. I hope that makes sense! Lmk
@@Essence_ray This is the part I am having problems with. I have gotten a few orders, but they have NOT been shipped by the TIK TOK shop, so I am not sure of my misstep. can you please elaborate on how to set this up.
Returns are typically just considered losses. Depending on your warehouse you cannot really return the item. Thats why it’s important to give as much information as possible in your descriptions (ex. Size charts for clothing) and test out samples to know you have a good product that won't have frequent returns. I hope that makes sense! ✨
If you’re using Printify for POD they have a TikTok Ready section. Those items will ship within the 2-day TikTok requirement. The link for Printify is in the video description! 🫶🏾✨
What about products that are ready to ship, like in your example, say photo frames, etc. Which suppliers are good for trending products? I'm new to all of this, hope you can help!
With print on demand, printify and the suppliers on the printify platform are your suppliers, you don’t have to look for sellers just choose the product, design it, and publish it.
@@Essence_ray ok ty for your quick response! I wasn't looking to design products, just looking for products that are ready to sell. Wishing you much success!!
@@jerzgirl6780 Yes if you are looking for dropshipping with non-POD products, I'd look into Zendrop on Shopify or try your hand with Alibaba suppliers and see which of them support dropshipping. Good luck to you as well!
While there are paid options that you could use to see trending products like minea or autods, you can do it organically by searching hashtags like #tiktokshopmademebuyit. I did it even simpler by liking product ads and posts on TT and then similar posts with new products would end up in my fyp and then I’d select a product from there and emulate that. Hopefully that makes sense! Lmk if you need a full video for this! ✨
Other than the influencer and affiliate marketing posts that I mentioned, I showcased the product, informed the audience about its benefits, did unboxings, made entertaining content etc. Definitely check out my “how to market” video because I go deeper into the type of content you need to post. Thanks for asking! ✨
It depends on whether you are working with an influencer or TT shop affiliate. If they are an influencer and not a TT shop affiliate then they put your website link in their bio. If they are a TT shop affiliate then they’ll put your TT shop product link on their content.
@Essence_ray I must not understand the process selling on tt. I thought tt doesnt pay you until the customers orders were received? So I was thinking the customer makes an order on tt and bc tt doesnt pay until customer recieves order we as seller must pay POD out of pocket for the order to be processed and shipped out. Am I misunderstanding and can you exlain how? Apologies for my confusion
Apologies, you didn't mention TT, my response was to general POD. However if you are doing POD/Dropshipping with TT shop, then you'll need little bit of money to start. Not only do I recommend using lower cost items, so you can cover the initial overhead without too much cost, but I also mentioned that I used influencer marketing first. My influencers are not TT shop affiliates so their viral posts led customers to my shopify website. Shopify pays out in 1-2 biz days. I used that profit to pay for my TT Shop orders until TT paid me out. Hopefully that makes sense!✨
Hi! Yes you always have to pay for samples to make sure the product is quality (for dropshipping) and your design is printed correctly (if you're doing POD).
Just keep in mind that you cannot sell digital products on Tiktok shop. You can use Tiktok ads or set up a profile on Tiktok with your Shopify website link in your bio though!
@@Essence_ray Hi thanks for responding and thank you for that advice I changed it to sole proprietor and resubmitted but unfortunately I still got denied. The new message is this. The proof of business document you provided does not meet requirements. Please re-submit an IRS issued document (IRS 147 C, 252 C, CP 575 A, CP 575 B, CP 575 G, or CP 575 E ) with a business name, business address, and Employer Identification Number (EIN) that corresponds with the information used for TikTok Shop registration. All I have is an Etsy account/social media platforms and I wasn’t allowed to put in the full Etsy address so they can confirm my business.
Unfortunately Tiktok shop is very selective and sensitive to previously denied applications. I would keep trying and reach out to them for appeal to try and submit the full document information.
Hey! So in the video I mention that I did organic content first and went viral and then I did influencer marketing which brought customers to my website, not TikTok shop. This way I got a bit of capital before I went viral via the TT affiliate way. If you are only doing the TT affiliate method alone I’d recommend starting with low cost items ($10 or less) and have a little capital so if you go viral you can cover the orders. I hope that makes sense! ✨
This video is about how I used the dropshipping business model on Tiktok shop, and because dropshipping is no longer recommended for Tiktok shop, I showed you guys how to do the same thing with a business model that is exact to dropshipping, Print On Demand. ✨
@@Essence_rayDid you have to have a lot of money of your own to fulfill the orders via POD when all the orders started coming in? I’m concerned that if I start and get orders , I’ll have to wait too long for TikTok to release customer payments to me
Great question, so I did start with money but definitely not a lot (under $300). With TikTok shop you really want to go for products that are lower in cost so if you do go viral initially you can cover the overhead cost. Since I was on Shopify also that’s why started with influencer marketing so I could make money on my Shopify website which pays out quicker and use that to cover any costs from TT Shop orders because you’re right, they take like two weeks to payout initially.
Hi! Yes, it explains the components of viral content✨ If you have no followers thats completely fine because the beauty of social media platform like Tiktok and IG are that a viral posts and quality content can bring followers and sales in! Followers do not equal sales :)
Can u mention the suppliers who have a product in bulk we can list and get orders and supplier fullfilled the order if we pay them in advanced except Amazon,Walmart,Ebay.
Hi! So while I used dropshipping, it’s no longer allowed on TikTok. This video was about Print on Demand in which Prinity would be the supplier. But with Dropshipping in general, you have to pay all suppliers to start fulfilling your orders. With Shopify you’ll get paid out faster to pay your supplier and TT shop can pay you 2 weeks at the max which would be too late for fulfillment (you’d need capital to start). Hopefully that’s clear, let me know! ✨
