I am new to all of this I have my dot# LLC etc. I have to wait that 20-30 for my authority. But I'm trying to figure all of this shit out. Thanks for the info. I already knew about it but I like the way you broke it down and you look and sound like one of us so I'm rocking with you.
Nice video, I've been a company driver class A for almost 2 years now and still think about going owner op. Very useful info for those of us not booking the loads
You can definitely make that money..... but, $750/mo insurance, $.50/mile for fuel. Driving yourself 45 hrs a week you'll make anywhere from 35%-50% of that on a hustle. Don't forget, Maintenance, and BIG breakdown costs $$5k-$15k more than 2-4 times a year. You'll clear $50-100k/yr. 1 truck. That number decreases with your 2nd truck became of payroll. Can be done, but 217k for 1 truck, 1 guy....not likely.
Lol😂 when I saw the numbers on the thumbnail I went straight to the comment to see the real people who are actually out there hustling and have to drive 60 a week and get $2/mike or more ave constantly run that truck to get that amount. And most guys insurance $1100+ / month so I don’t believe it
@dhal415 the best way is going to be relationships, and good ones take time. Also, you can find a mentor that can help you leverage his connections. Thisnis what I did. I would, however, recommend driving for someone else first if you don't already. This does 2 significant thing. 1. You'll know pretty quick, through actual experience if this is something you really want to do. 2. You'll probably end up getting some runs yourself before you start spending mo ey on fuel, insurance, etc. Then slowly build to 2 or 3 trucks. Drive 1, hire out 2. There will be sleepless nights and cash flow problems. This career is not for the lazy or faint of heart. But if committed, you can do it.
@@newman6830 Im just starting out so Im not really seeing the fruits of my labor as of yet. Im trying to secure a contract with someone local that will keep me running. The load board is crap right now and I cant rely solely on that. I dont want to paint a pretty lie to you. If youre willing to grind and put in the work, go for it. No one determines your success but you!
I have all the knowledge to start my business but the problem was that I had no experience in trucking. I’ve been a shipper manager and a broker. But never driven a truck. Im I’m school now for the CDL A certification. After that I would like to drive for 6 months then I will buy a tractor. We all have the same aspirations but different ways to get to the money.
Good vid bro, Caught my attention, Wit ya game.. I'm at the truck buying stage, Wit no dam money😢 I have good Credit. Is taking a $70,000 Loan out smart for a used 4300 dt 466 150,000 miles On it ???? 2018?? Help bro??
Great content, bro... Keep up the grind... My question for you... My truck is not new, but it's still new for its age... It's a 1997, 26ft box, with lift gate. Like new, with only 108k miles.... What's your thoughts. can I start my grind with it? Will shippers be willing to work with my truck? I it's not a brand new truck, but it's brand new for its age and year.... Hit your brother up! I need some advise...
If you have a 26ft BoxTruck with a lift gate Perfect! People are not looking at your truck or what year it is. Their focused on more of your ability to meet the demands.
Hey i have a question, how much do you think I can earn weekly average? After all expenses paid off. If I have my own authority & my own box truck paid off in California working dedicated or regional?
Buying one of the above Van/Truck/Sprinter .Do I have to have a minimum year age on my vehicle to get loads or find work?? Will I not get loads or app work if my van/truck/sprinter is too old? Thanks really like your channel, appreciate it !

Look guy's 2017k with 4 trucks is only 52k each truck so you have to pay a driver and fuel so he's only keeping about 60k to 70k in his pocket that's not counting insurance and maintenance these guys are a joke
