There sure is! Iclone have a few options to create facial animation: 1. Accuface (can be from webcam/phone etc) 2.Motion live 3. Nvidia audio2face (free) All these options can be exported out as FBX and bought into unreal / and or Blender 👍
I have Iclone, CC and Blender. I cannot imagine making that many round trips between CC and Blender for such a project though. If I only had CC4 and Blender I would use the $40 dollar Auto rig pro addon to re-rig My CC4 character in Blender . Auto rig pro has profiles for all of the major mocap systems. Or spend on $19 on the rigimap addon that retargets to the rigify rig , As it supports most of the major mocap systems including actor core/CC4 motions.
Hi there! I've been animating in blender for many years and I'm wanting to do a 3d animated version of my band for a music video. Reallusion has really caught my attention lately and I've been doing a bit of research on which of their programs I'd need to get the ball rolling on such a project. What would your recommendations be? Love your work by the way!
what a awasome job, i lost the count of how many programs you used at the midle of the video, is not a way to use on simple piece of software to do all?
You could do everything in blender (might require plugin still) But it’s whatever workflow works for you and your project. Lots of people use cinema4d & Maya if their budget stretches and they do have a bit of a learning curve.
Awesome tutorial! Do you know how to combine/merge motion capture from two different motion capture sources (i.e., Sony Mocopi lower focus and Dollars Mocap upper focus) ?
I think it’s called simply stitch pro I’ve used in another video. It is a plugin for blender but it is a one off cost rather than subscription. Honestly, the subscriptions are killing me at the moment as well 😭
Thank you, I did export to blender then return the character to CC4 BUT the character did not open the mouth during the talking?? what I must do?? Please help
Love your tutorials. I'd be fooling myself to think I could do half is much with all these character tools. I'd rather hire a pro, like yourself than attempt something like this. I'm much happier placing models in levels and coding in Unreal Engine.
