How I made a LIEBHERR 750 ton crane

via RU-vid capture In this video I try to explain how the crane goes together and a little about how I made it. I am not an expert on cranes. I make models of them as a hobby so if I get the names of parts of the crane wrong I apologise. In total it took 230 hours to make. Please subscribe if you like what I do. Thanks for watching.

Absolutely stunning! Using a modified stave construction for the main boom sections is simply genius. Take a bow sir!

You're welcome. I'm HO Scale 1:87 Modeler and I love mobile cranes too. The Liebherr cranes are one of the best in the world. Do you plan also to make the biggest LTM 11200 version?

Max Supercars I probably will try making the Ltm 11200 at some stage. At the moment I am making a Terex Demag AC 500-2. You can see step by step progress on my Flickr page. Look for johnmurphy45 or try wooden crane model. All of my cranes and trucks are on there.
