Mixing and mastering is in the end down to practice, practice and more practice. Which is good and bad news. Just keep on finishing tracks. Mix them to the best of your ability, try all the techniques you learn from youtube and see which ones that works for you. There are only 1 rule for mixing, which is don't clip the master channel. :)

Enhanced has really good ones too. They all seem to say the same message: just layer, layer, layer, add a lot of ambiances, then EQ and compress. Getting it all to sound good is the hard part. ;)

Great video and I learned a lot although EDM is not my main interest, but the techniques you shared we very useful. I like your no nonsense (no fooling around) approach and you just get on with showing how the track was put together is very refreshing and enjoyable to watch and learn. @@Ryos I like creating movie sound tracks like Hans Zimmer , and I also love deep house and anything very melodic (like your Identity track - it's dope!!) and I love the techniques you shared about the drone bass that fills the background and gives such a cool deep ambient vibe. It's a great technique. I use a lot of Heavycity VSTs - you might want to checkout the Damage package. It might be great for creating drops and risers. I also use FL Studio and it would be very cool if you did a video on all the plugins you use and why you particularly like them.
