Hey guys, as promised here’s my extended video discussing how I made my Marvel Legends style Superman figure.
Disclaimer: This video is not intended for kids, but for older action figure collectors 13+
My channel isn't monetized so I don't think I have to worry about the COPPA rules hurting my channel but I just wanted to get that disclaimer out there just in case

DC just can't seem to get it right with figures. Only Mafex and Mezco are doing good DC figures.

Alexis Islas-Gonzalez Would’ve been cool but I really just wanted a classic Superman, especially since I had already finished a classic Batman to go with him. I originally wanted to make the Fleischer version of Supes but since I wanted to make more DC customs I thought I’d go with his classic look so he could match with the Batman and Joker and other characters I might wanna make

I usually use a Marvel Legends base to make ML style DC custom figures but this time I used a Neca Superman (from the Alien 2 pack) and used the head, neck, belt, and feet from a Mezco Supes that disappointed me. I added a McFarlane Superman S and a wired cape from GPSlots online and I was really happy with it. Managed to shorten it to slightly taller than your average ML figure too.

As I always say before transforming from a human into an action figure, I’m going to: “Figure It Out!” and you've figured it out... DCUC is pretty compatible but it's cool to have something that gets even closer to Marvel Legends (Punisher is a great choice for Superman btw).

for my custom, i used the head from a broken Movie Masters Superman, i added a spit curl and the skin tone was close enough to the Shang Chi hands i have

is this body the same size as the 80th anniversary captain america, cus i'm making a mezco superman and the captain america is same size as mezco batman and if this is simular size i'll use this punisher as a base

just a light blue i mixed from a navy blue and white, however the blue primer underneath I think did have a satin finish
