I remember in 2010 I invest the first $10,000 I made, I bought a taxi in Jamaica and gave it to a family member to run for me while I was away in the state. I never saw a $1 from that investment. That's good your family members are business minded.

I'm surprised how much some details resonated with me, but I'm impressed and proud of how you managed to work hard, be intelligent, and completely change the lives of those you love. That's my why. My family is tiny and has struggled much. To this day, they share a cramped home and we've never vacationed together. We don't even celebrate holidays anymore... not that we ever really did. My reason is to break out of poverty, though I made my first million by the same age of 25, being a secretary at an oil company in my country before coming to Europe because of marriage. Now your whys: 1 Your need to replace you home to provide for your family and get rid of the fear of the house been destroyed during a hurricane. 2 Your responsibility to your son.
@Mrs Kerr ,Your two why from a tender age is the fear of living in a board house during a hurrican gave u the motivation to build a solid home for yourself and your family...2 why is that you had your son at a tender age and ensure that your responsibility level was step up in giving him a better home.
Odetta, this is inspirational. The buying cars to help family hits hard because we did this for family and it end up being waste. We did it for strangers and they make it big from that help. If family takes you for granted when you help them its really hard. Love this video.

I always wanted to be a billionaire because of the community I come from, looking around the people I always tell myself I will work hard so that I can help these people who are really suffering and now added my kids it doubles my effort when it comes to work, it's 4yrs now I sleep 2 hrs and the rest of the time working cause am just a house maid and have no time to rest so I use my sleeping hrs to do my part time job.
