You always kill it in these videos. One of my favorite RU-vidrs to follow and learn from. Question- How do you compete on ranking with the price when you are offering free shipping? I see most sellers price their loss leader super low and then price in the difference in the shipping charge.

my "loss leaders" aren't suuper low, I just dont make as much profit as I do with the international orders or more expensive products if someone buys them, but I'd prefer every customer that clicks buys something rather than nothing as each sale is a signal to etsy to let a listing rank higher - that's my philosophy anyway

Hey, when uploading your digital product on etsy, do you have to upload it as a pdf or there is a need to share a link?. Upon download the digital download, will customers be able to edit it if its simply as a pdf?

Great video Tia. Question - how do you have the option of manually selecting several different suppliers for the 11oz mug? On Printify I could only see ones with two providers at most, and to be able to select another POD company like Printful?

don’t product push from Printify, just create a listing from scratch in etsy then whenever a customer buys that listing you are flexible to choose whichever supplier you want, whether its a printify supplier, printful, another POD company, even shipping from your own house, whatever. The product just needs to get to the customer.

When you speak of having and offering multiple variations and offer low, medium and higher price points for profits…for different buyers…are you bundling? Same design? I am still very confused on how to do that type of listing like as you said…wrapping paper, card and a mug or shirt. Is there any way you could show us a tutorial how to do more product’s correctly and how do we do SEO correctly so all variants will come up and hopefully if they like it that listing pops up. And do you use your first image showing all variations? And do you also list all individually separate as well? Oh and how do we do the SKU’s so the buyer gets the one or 2-3 they order 😂Thank you and congratulations on your shop!!

thanks and no you cant choose which variation shows up for certain customers, your main image is what will appear in search for everyone. my first image shows my most expensive variation, not all my variations. SKUs are for tracking your stock internally not sure what you mean by "buyer gets one they order"

@beckykeener as a customer if you scroll to the very bottom of the webpage you can set your location and currency depending on where you live and prices will show in that currency. you can change your dashboard/stats currency in your shop settings.

Thanks for this video, very interesting as usual. I'm considering which POD company to use but I have some concerns about delivery profiles. I'm based in France and I'd like to sell worldwide and I've found that Gelato makes it easier to deliver my products (Posters). The network of production partners is wider than Printify or Printful. Have you ever considered using Gelato for your store? I'm not necessarily talking about cost, but rather shorter delivery times... Are you adding as many countries as possible to your delivery profile, or just the countries you show in the video? Thanks Tia

i dont sell posters but heard good things about gelato, i just use printify and printful as they tend to be the cheapest and are reliable. i set shipping to USA, europe, canada, UK, aus, NZ and "everywhere else" so should cover the whole planet (basically)

Nice info, but did you say once you receive an order on your Etsy shop you then go to your cheapest supplier and design and order direct from them and drop ship to your buyer? So you're paying your supplier for the order and getting a payment from Etsy for the buyers sale price? Edit: I watched again and you said "Manual fulfillment". Please confirm.

this probably warrants a whole separate video. I don't go directly to the supplier, I still do everything inside Printify (or Printful), but Printify is not a supplier, it's a network of many suppliers that you can choose from. basically, whenever you receive an order on Etsy, that order is imported into your printify account with the customer's details. If the SKU in Etsy matches one of the product SKUs in your printify account it will be automatically fulfilled. I have turned on manual fulfilment which means I must approve each order. I have connected most of my SKUs to my US suppliers so if an order comes in from the US I can approve it with one click, but if an order from a different country comes in, I manually edit the order and replace the item with the supplier that is cheapest for that location, then I approve it.

i started by copy and pasting the shipping info for each provider, working out the cheapest US supplier, then calculate as the orders come in, eg if one day i get a purchase from switzerland i'll just calculate the cheapest for switzerland, write that down and going forward i've noted that - not calculating every country at once at the start

Thanks for this video! I have an important question - Printify say they cannot add IOSS numbers to their packages for international orders, and that the customer will have to pay additional tax/VAT to receive their item, so I have not offered any international shipping. Is there any advice on this? Many thanks in advance, I'd really appreciate any information!

np, and I dont use IOSS, my customers just pay the VAT. it shouldnt stop you from selling internationally. VAT has to be paid either way, IOSS just reduces paperwork when you file taxes. if you want to register yourself then it may be possible to contact the actual supplier in printify to add the number to the packages

Some providers from specific countries on Printify only provide certain variations such as sizes and/or colors - How do you handle this in Etsy? When you choose printers, do you take as criteria the shipping time? Buyers in the EU have the right to withdraw (cancel or return) an order within 14 days of delivery - How do you deal with this?

1. i don't offer items i can't ship 2. the cheapest provider for a location tends to be the one with the fastest shipping time too, but if two providers have same or very similar price i'll choose the one with the fastest shipping time 3. i ask printify support to refund me (they usually do) then refund the customer
