Good time for this vid! I’ve been open for 6 months and have almost 1000 sales. I sell my digital embroidery designs. I don’t do ads bc my price points are mostly low and I’ve had REALLY good organic traffic with just my SEO. I’ve been experimenting with adding some POD items to my shop, and these listings aren’t getting views as quickly as my embroidery listings (probably because POD is much more saturated), so I’m doing an experiment that I started yesterday running $3/day on 5 POD listings in different niches. The plan is to run the test for one month and see how it goes. Probably worth mentioning that I am a graphic designer with over 20 years experience, so design is not the issue.

Thank you for posting these! I've been spending about 1-6 dollars a day on ads and not seeing any progress from that. It does bring me peace of mind though being able to follow the steps you provide so I can at least know that I'm getting eyes on things :) Thank you!
My shop has been running for 15 days. Ive been focusing hard on making new products and designs, two of us working full time. We've sold 3 products so far. 1 friem a friend we shared our shop with on facebook and the rest from organic. We just started ads two days ago at $5 per day, but bo sales so far. They did identify some listing tag problems that we solved and turned ads off for those product. We had laptop sleeves getting views as cases, which they are not. Our main thing so far has been understanding what design works better on what product. Being more picky when it comes to selecting designs. Our first products were a real mixed bag. Now, our new designs as much better.
I'd love to hear more about your Pinterest strategy because I've been trying to rev things up for my shop and leverage Pinterest for it but I find creating Pins for each listing really tedious! I already pin my listing from etsy directly but I had learned that it's best to have different pin designs to reach a wider audience.
I've had my Etsy shop for roughly 2 years, however I disengaged due to other obligations about 3 months after starting it. I re-engaged in December 2023 and am eager to do whatever I need to do to get more exposure. @@dylanjahraus

$5 a day. So far this month... 30k views, 265 clicks, 16 orders, 290$ rev, 112$ spend. This year my visits are down 38% on last year with conversion rate at 4%, really need to spend more time on my etsy as I've added zero new products over the last 2 years.
Hi ! I am using ads from 1-5 $ and I have 7 sales from ada and 1 from organic traffic . Without ads my store is quiet. When I turn ads my organic traffic is higher than without ads. My store is about 3 months old but I have started listing from one month .

I ran ads for about 3 months when I first opened my shop. I was losing way too much money. I haven't had ads on in 5 months now...my views have still never caught up organically to where they were while paying for ads and I only get a few orders here and there. But....if you sell digital vintage art....how do you create behind the scenes content for social media?

I am just getting started with my new business, so no ads and I am unlikely to based on past experiences with them (hugely expensive and the value of the traffic they generated did not meet my expectations) I do have a question about email lists, what do you think about sellers including regular gifts in the messages in addition to the value packed opt-in gift? I was considering ways in which that might generate traffic and add further value for my customers. Thank you again for another hugely informative video. Definitely starting to consider taking your courses as its clear you not only know your stuff but also have a terrific teaching style.

I used to do Pinterest clothing posts where I do styling of outfits, but when I made an Etsy I just began posting my etsy stuff. I started to realize I needed incorporate my styling posts again to show I’m not just pushing my products. Also, do you know of any Orange County print on demand apparel shops that are inexpensive & good quality? I want to branch out from Printify and Printful to local vendors where I can actually go into the store and see things they’re doing and go in in case I need to talk to them in person about their printing quality.

I sell custom gift boxes. I’ve only been open for a little over a month and have 33 sales. I do about $10-15 a day on ads. At this point, barely breaking even. Without ads my shop is silent. Very frustrating.
Question; I want to move towards making print-to-ship artwork but I'm worried about people (Temu, for example) stealing my artwork. Do you have any ideas of how to sell wall prints or shirts effectively without unwanted people getting involved?
