I’m 23. Just finished my first month and wrote just shy of 15K AP. All over the phone. I just purchased a FB ad course to lead gen with Facebook ads. Way cheaper than lead vendors. My biggest issue my first month was getting my calendar filled. Bulk of my days I only had 1-2 appointments a day. Aiming for 5-7 a day 6 days a week

Getting my life insurance license was the best decision I've made in a long time! It took me awhile to actually take action after getting licensed, but when I did it changed my financial situation for the better. I do telesales part time, (about 15 hours a week) and make more than my old monthly salary EVERY WEEK! I'm about to take it up a level and start working 30 hours a week.

I only sell part-time as I work full time in another career. I wrote $8,000 in commissions this past month - no leads or marketing costs. Old school sales - I ask nearly everyone I come into contact with about their life insurance plan, I take potential clients to really nice dinners to get their business and referrals. This month, I expect to make at least $5,000+ part time...most of which is profit. There isn't a better side hustle in my opinion. Buying leads is one way to do it - but your persistency will be shit and you have more overhead.

@@sonic-memes Good question. So I generally only write about 3-4 policies a month. I'd guess I am working 4-6 hours a week but I haven't tracked it that closely. I just looked at my P&L year to date. I have net about $17,000 in profit so far this year and it's only February 22nd. That is after all expenses - pretty damn good for a part time hustle. I have done enough production to be approaching a bump in my commission rate. I am hoping I can make MDRT this year - which would be amazing for a part-timer.

I currently do medicare with an agency for my 9-5 I hold a 2-15 license. I do ACA marketplace insurance independently, looking to be able to contract with some LI carriers so I can broaden my product portfolio and hopefully I can gain some knowledge from this video and eventually go completely independent and work from home for myself too :)

For salary earners having a passive source of income is the best thing you could have , because aside the the fact that it isn’t always enough you could lose your job any day at any time , have something to fall back to is crucial , for me it is trading the Crypto and Stock market and no I didn’t have that much knowledge to begin to earn that’s why I said passive income, I leave the profit making to the pro like my Advisor ' Nolan Velden Brent ' who has been doing a wonderful job.

Hey man! Loved the video! I’m 30, experienced In closing via in home sales with pre generated appointments.. Was gonna get into real estatE, decided to get my health, life, and accident insurance license instead so I can work remotely and travel freely. Currently working on obtaining that license, and I gotta say, this material is dry as hell… If you have any tips for passing my exam, and moving forward, I’d appreciate it. I am already speaking with a national brokerage that has access to hundreds of carriers. Not sure if I’ll stick with them or try this route of self generated sales. @@peterroberts9686I watched the videos on repeat. I'm not sure who you're taking your course thru but Xcel does reading and videos for each section so it's targeted toward all learning types. Listening on repeat and taking all the exams helped. Also when you finish on Xcel and get your 40 hrs in, here in NC, it gives you a cram course and multiple exam simulators. Take them until you pass multiple times and passing real exams will be 100%!!

This was a great video. However, look at a video he made one year later. He said he is only making $324 per week. The reason he was closing all this business but he was $5000 per week on leads. He said he also had a 30% lapse rate. Guys, companies like FFL and WFG teach this stuff. Recruit, recruit. They are pyramid schemes. The only people making money are at the top of the pyramid. Use networking and buy cheap leads. Don't do this, costs eat up everything you make.

It might be best to apply with a company that offers you base PLUS commission that way if you don't make a sale you still got money coming in. Most of those will also GIVE you leads . But idk I'm just starting myself
