Sound advice, in this day and age. But it absolutely sucks ass that it has to be this way in the first place. Constant production and inescapable poverty shouldn't be necessary for there to be art and artists.

So true. I get on writing kick and go for a few months, then I don’t feel like writing anything. It’s frustrating knowing that in order to make it, you have to constantly produce. It’s so disheartening.
