Just showing off one of my favorite ways to make Caps in Fallout 4. No Glitches I don't like them. No Mods. Just a way to cheese the water farming for some big bucks. Thanks for watching!!! #Fallout #Fallout4 #xbox
Be sure to check out the new version of this video! 👽 Updated Video: How I Make Caps ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dRd_G78P1mA.htmlsi=J3T4bKABtZ8gxwaM
I know that a bunch of people are already saying this but again thank you so much for still giving tips on fallout 4 and making videos on it still because it’s an absolutely blast of a game, I’m on my 9nth playthrough now but I don’t think I have anything awesome like 1000 hours like a comment somewhere around here
Awesome thanks! 👽 Such a good game. I've have 14 days (336 hours) into this playthrough alone. I'd have to say in total I've play over 1,000 hours of Fallout 4.
@@Ormonrose I have some friends who would say that the fact that you have 1000 hours on fallout 4 is sad but honestly bro, you are an absolute legend if you have over 1000 hours in ONE playthrough so congrats!
So, I think I came up with the best (mostly) passive income in fallout. Setting up shops in your settlements brings in caps to each settlement, but the trouble there is that you have to go to each settlement to collect them all. What I've done to somewhat bypass that, is when I'm back at my main base, I check to see how many caps I have on me, and then look to build a shop and see how much more is available to build with. Anytime you build it uses workshop materials first, then held materials, (all workshops connected by supply lines share the same pool of workshop materials) so if I'm holding 20,000 caps and it shows that I can use 23,000 caps to build a shop I know I have a total of 3,000 caps available in the other workshops. So at that point your choice is to go around to all of the settlements and collect them individually to get the full amount, OR you use 3000 caps to build a shop and then instantly scrap it to get 1500 caps back. Which you can then pull out of the settlement workshop you're currently at. Once you have all settlements opened and you have shops at all of them it's pretty easy to build up to three, four, five thousand caps, and then you simply need to buy and sell a shop to cash out half of what's accumulated. Once it's set up, you get a pretty substantial flow of money coming in, and it's nearly fully passive.
Awesome sanctuary build I just reinstalled fallout 4 I'm finally trying the settlement building now that I own all the dlc still working on getting all the creation club content
Collect things that they buy that have zero weight, like .38 cal bullets and V-Tec lunchboxes, and many other zero weight items that you can accumulate vast quantities of and sell back to vendors to get their stuff you want. All the pipe guns are fairly weak so I collect the bullets specifically for cash conversion... they are everywhere.
@@cosmicraysshotsintothelight the really great thing about jet is that it's really pretty easy to craft, 2 fertilizer and 1 plastic. And plastic is super cheap. Once you get your bartering maxed, you can get a shipment of 25 for under 100 caps. Shipments of fertilizer are a bit more pricey, but buying/collecting bags of fert when you find them are worth it. And having Brahmin at your settlement has the chance to produce free fertilizer too. Maxed bartering jet sells for 40 caps each
I know you're not a fan of glitches, but do you use the "rug glitch" for building? It's possible to rug all the water pumps closer together (or completely on top of each other to look like only one) and the purifiers can be "rugged" by using a garden plot or a campfire instead of a rug.
Building glitches don't bother me so much. It's the game-breaking ones I don't like. Thanks for letting me know. I didn't know you could use the rug glitch place water purifiers closer together! 👍
@@ltriggerlhappyl The hand pumps rug easily. The purifiers won't go directly onto a rug. You have to use a garden plot or a campfire as a pseudo rug. The game thinks those are dirt so if you sink them just below the water you can attach a purifier to them and then they act just like a rug glitch. That trick, combined with glitching yourself under the map, will also let you build purifiers at Jamaica Plain, Croup Manor, and The Airport. They have no visible water but there is water under the ground at those 3.
Hey m8, nice vid!!! What is that armor you are wearing? Think I have not seen it ingame so far or at least can’t remember, I started a new playthrough recently after years of not playing.
I usually go with water, ammo, and if I'm being a jerk, the indentured Servant option on the slot machine. I put a bunch of those machines in every settlement, make runs everywhere picking up cash, like I'm a mobster bookie. Also If you get Drinkin' Buddy, and give him purified water, he'll make it ice cold, which sells for more. I like that in Survival diff. It hydrates better, and sells for more. Gimme gimme. I do play now with a mod that also lets me make working refrigerators/soda machines. I didn't like hauling all my water to DB, and this mod made it so that I had DB's everywhere. They do use a cryo cell so that can be an issue at first. Not an issue after level 18, and master lock picking the cryolator.
Yea dude ur pad looks dope I recently just got a system again after years of lacking one and I got fallout 4 and Skyrim right off the jump started with skyrim now that it’s almost complete I’m at a spot I can start a diff game and not need to restart skyrim I have a problem if I don’t play a game after playing it j will just restart and I put a lot of time into skyrim already 😂
I don't mind restarting as long as I don't lose my previous save. The build up in games is fun. Once I become an Unstoppable God 👽 I usually restart lol
@@ltriggerlhappyl I’m Not unstoppable in Skyrim yet as some enemies get the drop on me and one shot me at lvl33 I haven’t been on all day grinds just couple hours at time
@@ltriggerlhappyl so but if a update in my fallout four journey still no nice settlement been exploring and getting good shit before completing the story just took out Clint and his gang of gunners and mini bosses I was running thru the game without power armor every time before this run lmfao now I can’t see it without it bc it’s just so handy for having extra item space
Hey ik u prob wont see this but if you do i wanna ask do you have any tips i loved your settlement and i wanna make mine simaliar but i dont have the materails any tips if so pls tell me ty great vid:)
If you need materials buy shipments. Google which Merchants sell shipments. Also build a general store if you can they sell lots of junk. Watch my video on how I make caps if you need more money. Thanks for commenting! 👽
I'm new to F4, making a lot of purified water to sell. The bottleneck of my income is the money the traders have. How is your trader having 1200 caps to start with? What do I have to do?
You have to be away from your settlement for 24 hours for it to reappear again in the workbench 👍 it will not spawn if you're in the settlement we're too close by.
It maxs out so take it out every 24 hours. The more water you are making the more will be added every day.@@slmnsd6186 Just make sure to not be in town for 24 hours for it to spawn. come back every day for your water.
With your design, and all the stuff you got at your settlement, you find your game freezes and crashes ALOT?? I don't have nearly as much as you and Everytime I fast travel, I have to save right as it loads because within 2 minutes it crashes, works fine after I load the save, but it's legit like clock work, freezes and crashes EVERY time
You're probably about the 6th or 7th person to mention having problems with the game like this. To be honest, i've never ran into problems with this game. Even on last generation. 🤷🏻♂️
@@ltriggerlhappylgreat vid. How do you get all the extra items to build. Like the lamp posts and all other building accessories? I'm also playing with zero mods
You are probably playing on xbox series x, right? Because on my xbox one s i can't explore boston without the game crashing and this is something that prevents me to really enjoy this game 😢. If u know how to fix this, let me know.
Well, i've noticed a lot of people mentioning crashing problems. There is an update coming out on the 25th of this month. Maybe that might help. It could unfortunately make it worse 👽
@@erdemturkmen8448 The water your settlement makes goes right into your Red Workshop. You don't need bottles to make purified water. It just makes its self when you have water pumps.
