...and POP, we have shine! Great stuff my friend, you got those caps looking as I would say "spiffy"! Remember, it's not being cheap but resourceful. There's a great feeling of accomplishment when working on our stuff and investing time to getting things done. Looking forward to hearing how the Dynamax mufflers turned out, will they sing or roar! Keep up the great stuff and take care always!
Thank you very much for using the word, "Resourceful". That's a good word for what I do mostly. I love to make used parts POP! Thank you so much for your comment! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for making this vid! I’m definitely going to try this out on my rallye wheels! I already use the 0000 pads for my bumpers, trim, and glass on my 72’ C3. It does wonders on glass for those that don’t already know. Thanks again for this post.
Thanks very much for watching the video! I have videos using 0000 Steel Wool on windows and you are correct! It does a great job! Thanks so much for your comment my friend! Thank you!
Oh ok. To me, the Corvette Rally Wheels are the nicest looking wheels you can get if you are on a budget like I am. Aftermarket wheels are very nice but very expensive as well. With the Rally's you can change the center caps and the beauty rings and make a while new appearance. I have a video where I showing his I take a 1956 Cadillac hubcaps and make them work on the Corvette Rally Wheels. It's pretty cool! Anyway thanks for watching the video! Please subscribe if you have not and check out my Instagram: PrimeredisBest. Thank you very much!
I really appreciate the video, I just got some rally wheels and I'm struggling to install the center caps, I'm wondering if there are any clips that I'm missing, or if I just need to use lots of force to get them on?
If they are Corvette Rallys then you will have to use a lot of force. I generally use a rubber mallet to install the caps onto the rims. Good luck to you my friend!
Hey Primered. Just watched this video. I have a set of the derby caps to put on my impala with rallye wheels. what is the best way to put the caps on without damaging them? thanks, Bob
I will try to remember to do that sometime soon! I don't have a vehicle right now that has those wheels on it. But maybe I can find one in the garage. Thanks for your question my friend!
That's a good question! No I am not. These wheels came off my buddy's 1979 Chevy C10 truck. The wheels are 5x5 bolt pattern. I am sure they are aftermarket wheels to fit on the Chevy truck bolt pattern instead of the 4.75 Chevy car bolt pattern. Thank you for your question! I enjoyed reading it! I really appreciate it!
