Handmade paper mache pendant light made of recycled office paper mixed with wallpaper glue powder and glass beads.
I applied a coating of diluted wood glue to the lamp when the paper mixture had dried.

Finally! After many long years of searching and waiting, a diy craft video about something that’s actually cool, and it doesn’t require $3400 for tools and supplies! Hey, btw, if you use an old-style, incandescent, clear-glass bulb, I’m pretty sure it will project "stars" on the walls & ceiling.

First of all it was merely a point to raise awareness and thoughtfulness. For anyone else reading I will stick to the potential fire hazard. Being pre-internet, pre-cable, pre Star Wars 4 release. When active pay phones littered the streets and the idea of bottled water would have made a horse laugh. These are the days that I ignited many things with incandescent light bulbs among other heat sources. My favorite fire was my plastic slinky whose fumes ignited just before the glass bulb blew up. Totally cool! I would never tell a person what to do, I wouldn’t assume their age or experiences. I would, again and again, bring up potential consequences, like I would with my beautiful grad school son and undergrad daughter. Life is good if you keep your mind open and better with good coaches and teachers like the one who made this awesome lampshade! I am inspired and thank you!
