You're doing something awesome here man. I grew up watching lego stop motion on YT, and this is such a natural evolution of that content into this era of RU-vid it feels uncanny. This video is also unreasonable funny, uh this comment just exits.
Same, I grew up watching stop-motion. It was so cool to see a LEGO person come to life. I’ve been doing stop-motion for 3 years now, it’s amazing to see stuff come to life.
Just found this lads channel and it’s brought back memories for when I tried to make stop motion Lego videos when I was 9. He’s absolutely killing it it now!!!
let's see this is not "evolution" nor is it something new since even the lego movie used blender, C4D, SFM even other tools although the most family friendly way is Stop motion and even today it is used but the truth is this boy it makes it to another level only a 16 year old person making animations as if the lego movie was doing them or even better
Your animation work is astounding I’ve been working with grown adults for years and you have progress father and show more interest and joy in what you’re doing than the majority of them. Keep up the great work! 🙃👍
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Hope you make more tutorials in the future. (If can you can, can you make a tutorial an the shader? If not thats ok) Have a nice day
I really love the shader man it looks dope but could you send a link for me or a tutorial because this is really cool you are gifted with a special skill.
Hey man, this is such a quick and easy tutorial I love it. Question though, how does the face rigging work and do you have any tutorials to help with that?
I just started animating Lego in blender and it has been very frustrating nothing does what I think it’s supposed to do lol I saw your seen in Spider-Man keep up the good work I can only hope to learn as much as you have. Thank you for the tutorial I need all the help I can get
I feel like getting into this, since i'm already pretty experienced with Roblox animations and considering both have characters with no joints it should be easy I just have to get used to animating in Blender first
and how do you do the facial mask animations for Miles?. anway just wanted to say that i love your work and that it has inspired me to keep pushing through my animation school courses to become just like you! its very cool to see how pro's actually do stuff. it helps that the tools are so accessable. are there any other tools you use nowadays? and how did you do the miles mask animation. like the eye movement and stuf?
He probably uses Mecaface which is paid but i found a tutorial on how to do it for free, you just need other face textures ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gQwo3FWs58g.html
thank you. i was inspired by some lego work of both yours and otherr people and i am going to make my first 3d lego animation :) Or my first 3d animation.
This was super helpful, I had one quick question tho, I was making my character model and when I tried to export it, it said I needed an account so I was wondering, is mecabricks free or is it a subscription that you have to pay?
Hi Preston, I've seen your work and have found it very inspiring! I'm working on a project atm where I have no experience in animation but want to recreate my first ever animation 10 years later by halloween! It'd be great to hear any advice you have when trying to animate and could be a cool collaboration, not sure how to get in touch so if you are interested please let me know! (youtube shorts are on my channel for context!)
Hey that was an awesome tutorial, respect for your work on ASTV. 🤘🏿 Can i just ask, when i rig the minifigure and change the pose, the hand moves normally, but the arm doesnt move at all. Any idea what's wrong?
Yo so I’m just coming back to this video now, do you think you could elaborate more on the mini fig shader u use? I’ve never used a shader like that for my mini figs in any of my animations yet but want to learn how to
I followed the instructions given up until when I try to import the files it just doesn’t work. I have a video uploaded on my channel and if you can help me I would really appreciate it.
