Do you add the recommended % of preservative according to the total weight of the scrub? Or do you reduce the quantity of soap base and then calculate the % of preservative to be added?

I have watched your whipped soap base recipe and there isn’t any mango/Shea butter in it, that you mentioned. Am I looking at the wrong video? Should I add them to my base? Love your videos, thank you so much!!

the store bought soap base does say it has mango butter and shea butter mine does not I add it in when I make it into my products to keep the integrity of the butters

Hi Guys sorry for the late response but with the flood life has been a roller coaster and I am trying to play catch up :) for the foot scrub the butters are added in the melting ingredients but you could add them after you take it off the heat as well its just your preference

you could go with coconut oil or grape seed oil these are high moisturizers

Thanks for your expertise and recipe. I noticed you added more glycerin and Stearic acid to your whipped base for this recipe, do you need to add these 2 ingredients to all other recipes? For instance: if you wanted to just make the whipped soap, would you need to add more glycerin and stearic?

Hi Joanne I only added this to the base for this recipe to bring what I wanted to this product , you do not have to add anything to the whipped base it is preference for your recipe

In your foaming bath butter you didn’t use Shea butter. What video did you add the Shea butter to the foaming bath butter?

Yes you can! if your wanting to replace steric acid with an E wax , it will change the skin properties to this recipe but will work :)

If you don’t have pumice, can you use walnut or orange or lemon peel? Something else that has a little bit of exfoliate in it? That would be great gifts.

absolutely you can use what ever exfoliant you wish to create your own :)
