In a time where relationships are made and destroyed via social media, and people thinking they can say anything they want behind a screen......a sense of mystery is fun and exciting. You don't have to share your personal life and all, but since you choose to let your subscribers in, it's okay to keep something for yourself. Quiana, don't ever think that! I moved from the east coast to get away from my husband for so many reasons. We have kids and I said I don't have time for love nor am I ever in the place to find love. I put my focus on my children and work. I felt if I found love again it would be after the kids get older. Then one day while working homecare a friend of the couple came over and changed my life! So patient, kind, intelligent, and so much more!! Being so broken I still didn't want to let in so when he asked the couple for my number I told them just give me his in case I chose not to call. Instead they gave him mine and I'm so glad they did. It was fate! Just don't look for it! Heal your heart. Don't let this man mess it up for the next one. Sorry for the rant.
My husband and I started out long distance, but not that distant. I lived in California and he lived in Texas. Southern men are the best! Just like you, we were friends first, though social media, for about 4 years. When we both ended up single at the same time, we ended up exchanging numbers and became closer friends for a year. Although I never seen him face to face, my family from Texas already knew him and had high praises of him so I knew he wasn't crazy. LOL. When we made our relationship official, I moved to Texas a few months later and all together (after making our relationship official) we got married 7 months later. We are very grown and spiritual, we don't casually date. He was and still is everything I wanted and need in a man and I am very happy. I am happy for you and I hope that the distance will not cause you guys to fall apart.

Great video. I met my husband long distance. We continue to go back and forth for awhile visiting each other. Finally, we just decided that one of us would move so we can be together. Long distance relationship can work; you just have to know your still committed to each other while apart. We knew that eventually one of us were going to have to move because if wanted this to work

I've been in a long distance relationship for a year with a guy from England (I'm in the US). We Skype everyday, talk for HOURS, and even fall asleep on the phone; it may sound creepy, but it's how we try to have a more "normal" relationship and I'm happy. It's hard as hell though because the time difference is eight hours. He's finally gonna come visit and I'm SO nervous! Omg!! This is right on time for me . I just got back from my trip with my boyfriend and we are both 3000 miles away. But like you said, everything happens for a reason. Super scary meeting him and his family for the first time , but the amount of time we spoke prior to meeting made me feel like I had known him forever.
