All I would say is that you were way too lucky to have made it on time. A typical end-to-end process to any destination takes atleast 6-8 months. I have done that twice, once for my US masters and next for my Australian PR, where I currently live. On both the occasions I had to go through tons of processes to clear every hurdle and it took close to an year for each of them.

My questions are - 1 - do we need to find a job directly related to the field we studied to stay back ? 2 - I have seen different universities offering masters with different durations ( example 1 or two years), I would like to know if the one year job seeking visa is given to all master programmes irrespective of the duration ?
