She’s a beauty!!! So proud of all your endeavors. I close my eyes and can remember you n dad starting to get the mill ready for the basement. ❤ And all your cabinets. Always a great surprise to walk down there to see what you have been up to!!🥰

Looking at the size of the door opening, and the weight of the equipment,it must have been a massive undertaking. You and Dad did a great job. Stay safe👍

Your shop and how you made it all work for you is quite mesmerizing. I started in a basement workshop and that experience guided me in designing my first home that I built which I always planned to convert to a new workshop. Moving heavy machinery down is way easier than up. My shop is now on a slab with a roll up garage door. You are an inspiration to us.

My dad worked for a major removal company here in the UK for over 30yrs before he passed away and as a young child from time to time if he had a job at a seaside town he and his colleague would take me and his son with them so we could have fun at the seaside after they were finished loading the truck etc. I found just watching my dad at work did me the world of good as I became older and moved homes many times myself I was always able to do the whole process without having to hire a removal company etc as it just seemed so natural and so easy to do which it really wasn't. Over the years I was asked by lots of friends and people who knew me to help with their house move etc so honestly I think that you and your dad did a fantastic job getting to grips with what you had to do to get all the machinery into your basement workshop without any damage to either the machinery or yourselves and the workshop. It's no easy task that's for sure 👍. As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.

Eating my lunch and I get a notification, 'ThatWoodGuy' just uploaded a video. What do I do? I click on it immediately. and glad I did, I was wondering how you got all your equipment down there. Thanks for sharing again.

Very impressive task to move that equipment in there. Well done! Do you use the same set up for moving large projects in and out of the work space? My workshop is a work in progress. When it was built with the addition to the house I had a double door walkout put in. I can get my truck about 20ft from the door which will be handy I'm sure. We work with what we got and you certainly have gone above and beyond that!!!

Thanks so much my friend. Yes I do. Or if I can handle them by hand I build them in sections so I can then reassemble on site

Thanks for explaining the process. Still amazed some of those massive tools fit through the man door. Now for follow up question: do you make a sled for pulling up large projects you build or assemble elsewhere? :)
@thatwoodguy104
@thatwoodguy104 Год назад
Thanks for watching Kevin :) so I build the pieces that are too large in sections that I can then handle out of the shop and reassemble on site 👍🏻
