It is advisable to watch this video without headaches as I messed the microphone connection (a new one I just bought) during recording resulting in a one sided audio situation for most part of the video. I have since then rectified the issue and my new videos will no longer have the same issue. So why should you study in Japan? Watch this video to find out some reasons ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3YqlAuDdOcA.htmlsi=BJ_73QL54vKErL9n
I'm actually transistioning out of working full-time as a Developer to go and study for the first time at Durham University doing Japanese Studies this year with a foundation year, I chose Japan because I've had many influences throughout my life be it colleagues or friends at school from the nation, and for the most part they've all since returned. A few of them sold me on the idea and after my own research I decided to commit to trying to move to the country. I love cooking japanese cuisine, the music is great and I've more friends there then here, so it just made sense in the end, plus I'm having a blast self studying the language so far, I want to aim high and aim to do my year abroad with Tokyo U, so watching your day-to-day videos these last few weeks in Tokyo has been such an awesome insight , love them! Hope your doing great, your videos always get a smile out of me when I see them pop up.
It’s great to hear from you. I can sense that you’re going to have a great time in Japan with the effort that you’ve put into learning Japanese already. I don’t speak Japanese that much so I am limited to some extent to meet and talk to friendly locals. Japanese cuisine is my favorite too. It’s always nice to hear from people like you who share the same love for Japan. All the best in your plans.
Informative bro. Been there for a month (February) this year for Ship for World Youth (Solomon delegation), we also spend days at Kyoto. I love everything about Japan, Iam looking forward for a chance to go back to Japan. I should have known your channel before coming to Japan. Keep the motivation brother.
I do appreciate taking the time to comment. Kyoto is such a beautiful place and so is the rest of Japan. So glad you like the comment. Tagio tumas wantok!
Zooming through the Japanese landscape at 300 km/h, every passing moment on this bullet train feels like a scene straight out of a futuristic movie. From Tokyo's bustling energy to Osaka's vibrant culture, the journey itself is an unforgettable adventure!
Keep up with making your videos bro. Continue when you get back home to Solo. Consider going into video interviews or podcasts with other international students discussing their experience to build your reach 👏👍
Thanks for your kind comments bro. I have been considering doing interviews for a while but I need to gather the courage to approach people to be part of my videos. May be one of these days I will put aside that fear and make it happen. Thanks again for kind words. Top day!
Great vlog! Thanks for sharing...just letting you know I had a bit of inbalance in the audio with my headphone...otherwise grest to see your enthusiasm and SIers doing quality vid.
Thanks for the feed back. I bought a new mic and used it for the second time in this video. I didn’t know that it was set on stereo mode which was the cause of the imbalance in audio. Since I was shooting and editing on my phone, couldn’t able to fix this even in post production. I noticed it towards the end of the shooting and had it rectified. You will notice that the audio is more balanced towards the end of the video after I reset the microphone to mono setting. Now that I know, future videos will be better…thanks for your kind words…I really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I noticed that during editing too but I couldn’t able to do anything about it as the microphone was set on stereo mode which means only one wireless microphone of the two that I had was working hence the one sided audio. I was new to the microphone though (first video) and I used it without properly reading the manual. 🤣🤣 But now I know how to use it and my newer videos now have better audio. For this video, watching it without a headphone may be a better choice. Sorry for that, but I promise to improve on this next time. Thanks for watching though
Im thinking of moving to Japan(Yokohama) hopefully next year to visit my Japanese girlfriend..I need some advice from you brother. Sending love from PNG all the way to you🇵🇬
Many of my friends brought their families with them. But you’re not going to be given extra financial assistance by the scholarship for doing so. What some of my friends do is they find random part time jobs where either them or their spouse engage in while they’re here. But if you’re planning on bringing your family over, I suggest you do so after arriving here by yourself. In that way, you can able to plan ahead for their arrival with some personal experience on your side already. Every city in Japan is kind of different in terms of cost of living so my experiences in Tokyo ( which is one of the most expensive I guess), might be different from other cities.
Hi, so I’ve been there in February to march 3rd (Fukuoka ) for a short term training under the ministry of Health. Bro, it was freezing 🥶 LOL 😂 but ‘‘twas an amazing experience 😊 if only me savve info ahead should by oryt 😅
You don't have to go back to your country after the scholarship ends though. If you get a job, you can then apply for a work visa and still remain in Japan, while working. Unless, of course, you don't plan on working in Japan. And that's okay.
That’s a very difficult statement to comment on. I feel like I am going to be my best more outside of the typical classroom. Haha. But thanks for watching.
Check out these videos where I explain how to get the scholarship to come to Japan ru-vid.com/group/PLd2qp8dhU2vVc7tpJPLrqp1TI4D5fBuzw&si=d6G7S4HXSf7VtcmK
