I am larger than you are, but I pack in a similar way, i just take a few less things to compensate for my size. I don’t mind traveling with less as long as I love everything that I take. Its so nice traveling in one backpack and not having to wrangle a larger suitcase. Great video - thank you for sharing!
Yes I would never fit in combo winter summer as have meds etc too... last time was a waste as had to buy xtra things then leave them behind as winter jacket wasnt enough at all..
What hate comments did you read? I bet there was no hate at all, but only ppl voicing their opinion on how impractical this actual is for 3 months of travel in another country.
@@OrangeArdmoreif she has been able to manage it for this long, obviously it’s working. The title literally says “how I pack”. Not “how to pack”. Maybe this doesn’t work for YOU. But clearly it works for HER.
I know you’re about to save me for my vacation to Chicago for 2 months!!! Yes lord!! I do not want to carry a 50 pound suitcase just the big black non-attractive backpack. Problem solved! Thank you!!❤️
I actually don’t think this is unrealistic considering all you need is clothes money and a computer I put on very minimal make up too so I could fit it in there and maybe some Band-Aids in case I think anybody could realistically do this, but it does help that you’re small. I am curious about shoes though you just wear the same ones every day? I would need a break from trainers.
I'm just thinking of the posibilities I have with this. I would never need 7 bathing suits. And I don't use cosmetics or hairbrushes - this makes a lot more space
I've been living out of my backpack for 7y so I do believe it's doable to travel light but this packing is just not true. Towel? Slippers? Sunglasses? Sunhat? Money/cards? Passport? Laptop/phone charger? A day bag/backpack? Last even summer in warm locations can get chill at night and you would need a light jacket and trousers.
This was kind of useless, since none of the practical details were given. For example, what materials do you use for clothing, to be able to roll them up so small? How do you pack your work clothes (or do you work wearing shorts and tank tops)?
I’m seeing very minimum make up and that’s great. Some can be universal but if you’re going to a cold climate, this wouldn’t work especially boots alone.
Yeah, I tried to find the Amazon package things. He said he read a link and I looked all over your normal RU-vid page and couldn’t find it so I’m not gonna buy it buy it through your affinity link I’ve only you could’ve linked it where you linked it.
How do you get through TSA with your cosmetics & toiletries like that? If I have trouble fitting all of mine in a large sandwich bag size then I’m almost always scolded for bringing too many things in my carry on. I do not love checking a bag just because I wanted to bring a little makeup on a trip.
It’s a category of bag that you’re allowed to bring on an airplane. You can usually have one carry on luggage and one personal item such as a purse or backpack.
Agreed! I notice this when packing for my daughter for vacay be myself (plus size woman). No wonder it’s so easy for me to pack her stuff be mine. I was able to pack for a 2 week trip in a 26L bag but did sink laundry a couple of times. So even plus size it’s doable but you’ll have fewer outfits & a bit more laundry!
She honestly has overpack a little. She could cut her clothes in half as long as she doesn’t mind washing them more. You could cut it down to 3 swimwear or maybe two. 3 pairs short sleeve shirts, 3 pairs of pants. 3 pairs of shorts, two long sleeves or not depending on destination or weather, 2 sleepwear, 2 dresses. Also you can save space by using vacuumed sealed bags.
She wearing them. She should be able to pack a flip flops or sandals. Whose packing full size shampoo and body wash. They probably have it in the hotels, or hostels she is saying at.
You have to be single digit size to get away with this and really don't care about wearing the same thing over and over again after multiple washes. She definitely can't buy anything on her 3 month treks. Unless she plans on mailing it directly back home. Idk what the purpose of her long trips are, but it's definitely not about fashion. I wouldn't want to travel like this bc I don't see how this is enjoyable. I'm not saying I would need to pack 3 steamer trunks, but I would like to bring back souvenirs, gifts for friends/family, and fashion from other countries.
As long as it fits under the front of your feet on the aircraft. Most airlines except for some budget airlines allows to carry two items. Carry on luggage and backpack as long as it can fit under the front of your seat. Every airline is different but it’s the norm in many major airlines
this Columbia Manifest has the size 51 x 31 x 20 cm, as such it's officially too big for a "personal item", but I guess it is discrete and compact enough to pass as such.
