I had the pleasure to meet Haris in person. Even though it was 1.5 years ago which we’re still his early days in Japan, I was impressed by his Japanese skills. I always wondered what’s the secret?Here you go guys. Thank you Haris for sharing with us your experience. The most important thing is the resources you used and suggest to us. And I like the part when you say “choose the method which you enjoy”. 👍👍👏🏾👏🏾👍👍

Hi Harris: Your video on "How I passed N2 Exam" is inspiring. I did Master of Arts in Japanese Studies and won the gold medal as the best student of the year. Further I was awarded Japan Foundation scholarship for 4 months to learn Japanese Language in Japanese Language Institute in Kansai, Japan. I learnt Academic Japanese as well. Also I passed 4th and 3rd levels of JLPT those days. I had almost forgotten Japanese and I want to get back to it. Your video brings me lots of courage. Many many Thanks for sharing your experience and views. Champa

Can you talk more about your actual study plan/habits please? The time you took each day doing each method? I'm trying for N4 this year but spend so much time each day studying and feel like there's no progress and living in Japan makes me want to progress a lot this year(studying for 14 months now).
@japanviaharis
@japanviaharis Год назад
To be honest, I didn't follow study plan, although I highly recommend. In my case, I just followed the sources which I enjoyed the most, it kept me motivated to study something everyday. I recommend practice reading and listening from the sources you like, it will be difficult in the beginning but you will see yourself making improvement over time.

My method is gonna be focusing on the grammar and vocabulary and also focusing on the fact that i only need around 50% per section and overall to pass the test. That's correct right?
@japanviaharis
@japanviaharis 11 месяцев назад
That's right. Focus on listening as well.
@japanviaharis

Listening was relatively easy for me and I could get a better overall score due to good listening ability.
