Hey friends, welcome back! My name is Abdur, and I’m an MSc in Applied Computing student at the University of Toronto. This video is all about how I cleared the AWS Developer - Associate Certification exam (AWS DVA - C02) with about a month of preparation. Passed the exam this morning. Notes were amazing. Alternatively I used practice tests from Skillcertpro which are very much identical to main exam as I got close to 80% from their sets word to word. I went through the answers and detailed explanations which helped me to understand the concepts well. Thumb rule is to score 80% in their mock exams before sitting for official exam.

I cleared the DVA certification recently with 3 weeks' preparation. I did 4 practice tests + official practice test in skill builder. The practice tests and subsequent analysis of wrong answers really helped. Though I scored only 60% in the official practice test, I went ahead with the exam and was able to score 82%.

I am preparing for DVA-C02 and as you suggested I got enrolled in Stephane Maarek course in Udemy which is super helpful not just to pass the exam but also to gain the real AWS knowledge across multiple services. hi Tahseer , I have completed Aws cloud practioner and i am currently preparing for developer associate , strategy i was following was writing my own notes in between attending lectures of stephane marek but i felt it is time consuming as i am working professional , so is your notes enough for revision so that i can complete lectures quickly rather than wasting time on preparing notes?

cloud practitioner is not mandatory it's just foundation exam to get you introduced to AWS concepts.. you can go with solution architect or devloper associate if you are a working professional

No, you'll get your score after about a day.

Yes, SAA is quite broad and will allow you to learn a lot of concepts

This exam covers development and deployment related services in detail. The practitioner exam is much more basic.

I have done both SAA and DVA. The former (SAA) is easier comparatively.
