Thank you so much for your guidance and showing us such an easy way to understand these test techniques.. I PASSED the ISTQB Foundation Level Exam this morning, and I owe it to your videos. 😍😍😍
@@HomeUse-yk6eg To be honest, I didnt know there was a 4.0, so I read through the complete 3.x syllabus version.. And just a week before the test, while I was taking a few mocks online, I stumbled upon the 4.0 version.. And frankly speaking, 4.0 syllabus has omitted a lot of the extras that were there in the previous version, so I felt it was much easier to read and complete.. So my take, drink 3.x version and then snack up on 4.0..
A developer was asked to implement the following business rule: INPUT: value (integer number) IF (value ≤ 100 OR value ≥ 200) THEN write “value incorrect” ELSE write “value OK” You design the test cases using 2-value boundary value analysis. Which of the following sets of test inputs achieves the greatest coverage? a) 100, 150, 200, 201 b) 99, 100, 200, 201 c) 98, 99, 100, 101 d) 101, 150, 199, 200 Select ONE option.
Thank you so much for putting all of this together, but the coupon for the course on "1000+ questions and 5 Sample Exams" is no longer valid. To me that is the most important part of the preparation. Can you help?
I have applied ISTQB CTFL 4.0 exam. and I am going through that syllabus. but, I am going through the past questions based on CTFL 3.1 (2018) Could I know are there many changes of questions from CTFL 3.1 to CTFL 4.0
Hi @sitharagunawardana1547 Last wee I wrote the article which explains in detail the answer to your question www.testing101.net/post/istqb-ctfl-v4-0-new-vs-v3-1-retiring-what-to-choose
There's just one thing I'm unclear about. Do we only need to study 40 questions to prepare for the exam? Are these the exact same 40 questions that will appear on the exam, or is there a different process involved?
Hi Danata, no, unfortunetely no, on the real exam there will be totally different questions and even different providers will have different questions. One provider will have very difficult question on EP for example, but a simple question for state transition, another provider vice versa. That is the main reason I created the course, to create as many similar questions as possible to different online providers

Hi! I just applied for ISTQB CTFL Exam just a few days ago, but I did't see that a 4.0 Syllabus version came out! However, I purchased the exam from my local organization (which is trusted) and states ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL 2018). Do I take the exam on 3.1 Syllabus or 4.0?
Hi George, good luck with your exam if you haven't already taken it, Also in a similar predicament I have been studying with the 3.1 and the release of the 4.0 Syllabus has left me confused, Do you know yet if the upcoming exams will be on the 3.1 or have they fully moved over to the 4.0? Thanks in advance
@@Platternem Hey! I reconfirmed with my local organization about this confusion and you can stay cool, the exam will continue to be based on the old version of the syllabus until May 2024. It also depends on what type of exam did you applied for (e.g., Brightest online exam provider supports 2 types of certification such as ISTQB CTFL 2018 - with the syllabus on version 3.1 and ISTQB CTFL version 4.0)
What the shame with this ICTQB ! they can't even organise their docs. Looks like commercial organisation which thinking about getting money from the people
