That was great, but what about room mics for instance, should I align them to the grid so that they are perfectly in phase with rest of the tracks ?

Great video, do you use the same method for guitars? I'm recording a bunch of DI guitars, the same guitar but with different settings on the pickups and thetone knob to change somehow the polarity and the tone of course, should I still flipling the phase anyways?

Yeah, getting each tone to sound different will help for sure! I also play things on different strings / part of the neck or even different voicings. Always careful with flipping phase ha ha! If it sounds good it is good I guess! What sort of music are you working on?

Mixed results with that tbh. Sometimes it doesn't do it as well as I can. And I don't find phase aligning time consuming, unlike editing for timing or tuning vocals.
