Hi all! I did the B2 exam a couple of months ago and am preparing for the C1 ahora mismo, hands down, el cronómetro is hands down the best practice in terms of mock exams as they are harder than the exam, and so you will feel much more confident!!
I’m so happy for you!!! And thank you for sharing with us the experience with el cronómetro😆 I think I’ve heard of something similar, that it’s harder than the actual exam🤭
I’m doing the B2 exam in November and am looking for good resources. El cronómetro doesn’t seem to have any later edition than 2013. Is that the book you used? Good luck with your next exam 😊
Thank you!!! I actually watched some of your videos before I did the test!!! Like how to do some small talks with the examiner( tho I didn’t get a chance to use it haha) thank you for sharing so many Dele tips and help us!
Congratulations belatedly on passing the C-1. Do you mind telling us how long it was between when you started studying Spanish to taking the Dele C-1? Did you take any of the other Dele exams? Your study schedule was quite ambitious so I’m not at all surprised you passed the exam.
Heyyy thank you for the comment! I’ll think if there’s a dynamic way to share those😂 I collected them from all over the place so I can’t really name a source🙈🙈🙈
Ni! Thank you for the video. Now I am also VEEERY burnt out and not sure how to deal with it.
hey, one question the convocatoria of the exam is the email that you receive with the date and time of the exam? should it be a special pdf document or it's the simple email that i have to print ?
Hiii I think I only have the ebook of that grammar one, you can download it from a website called z library, maybe you’ll find more books that you need there!
Mucha suerte!!
I'm preparing my B2 and I'm already watching this haha May I know how do you prepare or how do you improve your listening skills? That's my weakest part :(
well that means you think ahead hahahaha! Well in general I think you just need to listen to as much Spanish as possible. Besides watching shows and stuff, it’s also important to do some intensive listening, which basically means that you’ll need to force yourself to understand every single word they say in the video or simply do a short dictation every day. Don’t listen to stuff that’s already too easy for you or some material with too many words that you don’t know, try to find something that’s slightly higher than your level, where you only struggle with 20% of the content. As you check your dictation, you’ll know where you fall short. Besides, work on your vocabulary. Cuz a lot of the times it’s not that you have poor listening skill s, rather it’s bc you don’t have enough vocabulary to capture the whole picture. Cuz if you don’t know what this word means, even if you hear it loud and clear, it’s not gonna help you. Hope it helps😁😁😁
Hi! I saw your couple of videos about your DELE experiece. You have great advice and many subscribers have some questions (I saw them in the comments). I was wondering if you would like to make a video together to answer all the questions that a person who is gonna do the exam might have and chat about what, as an examiner of DELE, might be useful or not. Let me know 😉
hi Cecilia. I am appearing for dele C1 this time. Could you possibly share some notes? on how did you prepare for it. I have made mine but still feeling less confident.
Hi! Thanks so much for the video, it's very helpful! Can you tell me if this exam was split over 2 different days? I remember hearing that about the B2 exam. C1 is not offered in Los Angeles where I live so I would have to fly to another state to take it. Thanks so much in advance for your response!
Oh god I thought I got back to you already! Just realized my reply didn’t get sent out somehow. Well sometimes the speaking test is one day before or after the written test. But you can’t know for sure until I think two weeks before the actual exam date when you’re gonna receive an email from the exam center, telling you specifically when you’ll be taking your speaking test🥺
Hi! I only did SIELE before and got a B2, so I’m not quite sure about what it is really like to take the DELE B2 exam. But I did do the reading and listening practice in the DELE B2 book since I bought it a long time ago, and I do think DELE C1 is harder than B2. It requires a lot more vocab and higher level of language skills in my opinion
Hiii! I would say more or less 2 years, but for the exam I prepared for it for about half year☺️ I’ll make a video soon about my whole Spanish learning journey😄 stay tunedddd!
