Thank you for sharing this information. What type of transfer paper did you use? Also any wax paper will do? And do you need a new wax paper for every press you do?
It's not a bother! All of my supplies are available on my patreon from the lowest tier! I don't use a new sheet of silicon paper each time, you just have to eyeball when you need a new one but I am sure there are more instructions on the paper packet
Hi! I do own a tote bag buissness actually and I’m wondering as I’m just starting where I should purchase the bags from?! I am paying around £2-£3 per bag at the moment and then buying the transfers for in actually not making that much profit at all as I sell them for £5! Please respond x
Thank you! I'm so glad you think so. I use the Epson ecotank 7700 but it is pretty old now! Have a look into the Ecotank range by Epson and see what suits your needs, I'm looking to upgrade to be honest
Hi may I know where you get your heat transfer paper? I’d like the ink to be transferred to the paper, not the paper print stuck onto the bag. Thank you!
Thank you so much! What about the measurements of your designs/artwork? I’m just starting out and I’m unsure how to print out my designs with the measurements I want. Thank you! :)
Hey, I use the exact same transfer paper and I have faced some cracks in the print after time use. Does that happen with you as well and do you have any advice to fix that? I am selling my totes and I want to make sure that they are good quality.
Hey, what temperature and time do you use for your tote bags? I have the same paper and press but mine gets always a little yellow when I use the heat mentioned in the directions :(
You might be pressing it for too long! I use 180 c for mine but it is different with each transfer paper and machine, it is best to follow their specific directions
My biggest problem is finding quality tote bags that aren't so expensive that I won't profit. If anyone knows of any good quality tote bags that aren't flimsy with flimsy handles, please let me know the source. Thank you.
as long as you follow the instructions for the bag and the transfer they should hold up fine! I have some that i have been using for years that still look great. However I have some where they've ended up in the wrong wash and have shrunk and cracked
@honeyfieldnotes So i've been thinking of selling some totes. Do you feel that as long as you include washing and care instructions, and if the person automatically throws it in the wash and not follow the instructions that you're not obligated to reimburse them, that's on them.
I am not a lawyer and i am not qualified to give legal advice!! I would definitely search this elsewhere for yourself but including it within the listing clearly is the best way to let the customers know in my experience
@@honeyfieldnotes Thanks, I wasn't asking for legal advice lol. It's no big deal, just wanted to know your opinion or what you do. I would hope no one would sue me over a tumbler. I would replace it rather than go through that.
