Hugely excited to have Australian swingy underground house and trippy UKG expert Monika Ross joining us on Tuesday July 16th for an in depth dissection of her signature sound.
Ultra swung drums, rolling basslines, uniquely treated vocal samples and lots more. We will be delving deep into how she puts together her understated yet powerful music.
I've been following Monikas sound for a while and she effortlessly switches between rolling trippy heads down 'afterparty' house (think artists like Snad and places like CDV) and more recently she's been showcasing her love of UKG and breakbeats with some brilliant releases such as THIS ONE for her new label Koochy Koo.
She's also recently started a project with her husband Nils called Nosty Kutz which is a journey further into her signature fun/fucked up UKG/breakbeat vibe.
