I say a lot of coms wrong in this video, I kinda just one-take everything so ignore the stuttering and the few misspeaks like call A short hell. Lemme know if yall like this format, if so I can make a better version in the next attempt.
@@spiveeforever7093 That game sense comes from focusing on what you can do. As you get more familiar with the game and its patterns, certain aspects of what we know as "game sense" your brain can automatically take care of, freeing up your mental and allowing it to focus on other less familiar parts of the game, further improving your game sense.
@@jingjieong8918 can confirm low elo brims that don’t use smoke and stuff are the bane of my existence they won’t use ult at all wont use moly right like they genuinely break the teams already badly glued together coordination it’s not just that low elo is such a hard place to get out of because people play so unpredictably
I love this. I'm a 30yo full time worker and this is exactly how I hit immortal. My aim is okay and when i'm feeling myself I can hang with the best, but the majority of the time a 50-50 is more like a 30-70 for me. When you can't keep up with the cracked out zoomers, you gotta use what they dont, your brain. The number of games i win by being the IGL or mind-gaming is crazy. Also, if you see a smoke, walk in that sucker. Be the rat. embrace the rat.
Lmaoo embrace the rat 😂 as a all aim no brain player from diamond, it’s hard for me to stay in one place and be ratty I gotta keep moving or else I’ll start going insane from boredom 😭😓
Sure, but I've never seen an adult start having sexual ramblings in a valorant game, I've seen that plenty of times with kids under the age of 15@@Iam....--..
I am an omen main and climbed so quickly from s1 to d2 (as of writing I fell to d1 😢) and I had a similar strat of kinda solely relying on game sense and just kind of playing chess with the enemies to win
When you’re smurfing you always pick a aggressive agent and just W key and that gets you easy win. So why in your own rank you play like a bitch? You want to imagine yourself as a Smurf even in your rank, like magus Carlson said we don’t win off tricks
Really good video, definitely differs from the usual videos showing you how to play better. Tired of all of this “don’t run and gun, don’t spray, don’t crouch, etc etc.” you really show how you can still rank up with mostly game sense and I appreciate that. Subscribed
I completely agree. I have something like a 30+% HS on vandal and phantom, and 24+% overall, and I'm still platinum. I need to work on my gunplay because I tend to only win fights I out-aim or get a flash kill.
@@Mavhawk64 You mean "gamesense"? 30% headshot is ludicrous assuming you have a few hundred matches played. Even 20%+ is pretty decent if I recall correctly.
I aint never seen a val guide like this taking an approach away from aiming and I am flabbergasted yet this is probably one of the best val guide I have seen. Honestly this motivates me to play the game more since I believed that there was a greater requirement to be able to aim well compared to brain and game sense, having to grind hours on aim train to get even a little better. Yet after watching how you play and think has really changed my perspective for the better. Great video, thumbnail and title gave me a chuckle.
having you explain your thought process really helps understand what things should be considered when playing. It's not just aim for the head, there's more to this game than that. As a really low elo player it's such a good insight on what matters. Keep it up :))
i absolutely LOVE these type of videos, not only is it satisfying to watch the clutch play out, but its also great to hear the thought process of a higher ranked player in these type of situations! subbed and excited for future content! :)
This is a great guide, really tells you about how to develop your game sense, round by round. But to all those guys who get demotivated by watching these guides because they lose many of the times they go for outplays, dont worry man these videos show us only the best games the streamer/youtuber had so that they can break them down well. They have bad rounds and bad games too. They most fundamental thing is to talk w yourself about why u lost the round or what went wrong. And sometimes ur just unlucky too, maybe u miss all your classic right clicks, its ok be the best version of yourself, u will rank up in no time
Thank you for this video! As someone that's all aim and overly aggressive (Peak P2) seeing someone analyze their playstyle like this and having to play slow and smart helps me get ideas on how to play properly! The way you explained your movements and what you were thinking is super clear and concise, easy to follow and engaging. I'd love to see more!
I feel the same, I’m ascendant but I have terrible gamesense. I get called brain dead all the time by my team but they also tell me my aim is nuts so I guess it is what it is.
i really love this; shows how it’s not all about aim or insane movement but just predicting the enemy’s moves and having good game sense which i think needs to be focused on more!
love this video, so helpful and ur so down to earth when u speak , makes it more like a conversation rather than being lectured to like other val videos , keep up the good work! ♡
Thanks for this video! As someone with crap aim myself, this video is like Christmas came early. I hope it pops off and reach more viewers like myself, and you get the recognition you deserve for the quality content!
Love how you speak so casually and honestly as if we're in a discord call just chatting. Also love your excitement in this video about some of these clips haha. Great video! Liked and subscribed.
1:30 - Not just applicable to enemy Sova droning, but also other abilities that changes the enemy's "POV" or forces them to be stationary, this includes: Skye Dog, Gecko Ult, Sova Ult, this isn't as good but Kay/o ult while he's getting revived will be a good idea in certain situations, but in many more situations, enemy Sage Ulting is going to be really good because if you know where exactly the enemy is getting resurrected, you're ulting at LEAST two people (the ulting Sage and the enemy getting resurrected). I once got a 4k with Brimstone by ulting Haven Garage, some enemies ran out of Window/onto C but I was in between the two garage exit points, ready for the peeks - easy 4k with little to no aim skills as all I've done was spray with my Phantom as they ran out! Learn to spot these opportunities in order to make some crazy plays with guaranteed damage + at least one kill. Huge impact and huge brain, friends! Playing Controller/Initiator is probably your best bet if you're someone who is mechanically inept, however, it is EXTREMELY important to keep in mind that only around ONE PERCENT of gamers are mechanically inept. THIS MEANS IT LIKELY IS NOT YOU, AND YOU MAY LACK CONFIDENCE AND THINK THAT YOUR MOUSE SKILLS SUCK, but it's not about that, it's about whether you can IMPROVE those skills, and 99% of players can. Coaches like Woohojin even have some real statistics showing that only 3% of his students actually need to focus on their aim and aim alone. Not to mention that these students are often people who don't even put in ANY effort into using their mouse, they're oftentimes LAZY. This is extremely unlikely to be you if you so much as care about winning your comp games and getting better at the game. If you still are skeptical after this video that aim is not needed, then listen to me, someone who was ALWAYS the BOTTOM 50% in every FPS game they have ever played. My reaction speeds sucked, my aiming skills sucked, my thinking skills sucked, but I improved them little by little over the span of TWO YEARS playing Valorant - And I've achieved Ascendant1 through one-tricking Brimstone (and sometimes Sova on the few occasions that someone instalocked Brimstone faster than me). I've taken a few setbacks due to changing my roles to Duelist, for the sake of improving my gamesense and mechanical skills, but yet again I'm reaching new heights, simply through persistence. You don't have to bother with all the annoying stuff like reviewing your own gameplay for mistakes, just play the game, and play the agents you enjoy, and be creative with them in order to enjoy playing those agents more. Simply being creative and thinking about how to step-up your gameplay will result in improvement. Be passionate if you wish to turn tactical shooters such as Valorant into an incredibly rewarding and satisfying hobby.
As someone with terrible aim AND absolutely no game sense, it was very helpful to hear your thought process while you play. It showed me new things to think about the next time I play. Thank you! Please make more videos like these 🙏
this is just what i needed... i have been feeling very low lately but seeing that you dont need to have advanced knowledge of the game just good basics is enough for you to advance to a descent rank and when you are down bad dont focus much on what needs to be done.. just focus on what can be done and make sure u do your best to do it properly... wonderful video and i hope you make more like these.
Love these types of videos with the notes, it’s really useful especially being an omen main. I just play smart when the enemies are good and run it down no brain style if the enemies lack sentience
your work seems honest be motivated ! love watching it and seems like youre talking to us like friends and how you managed to get there love it man keep it up
you might not have good aim, but you have an amazing game sense. these tactics and plays only come up in my head after the game ends. great video dude!
Honestly really enjoyed this video you nailed it with finding something unique, never really seen anything comparable or somone having a genuine approach at teaching gamesense
You got my sub. I love the info you give in this video, and the causality ofhow you deliver it all makes it easy for us to see ourselves doing it. Keep it up king 👏
i am the same haha its good to see someone play smart and be able to peak asc 2 from game sense. youre really motivational for the valo grind, love your content! so glad it came on my feed
I LOVED THIS you're so humble as well, you admit easily and straight forwardly when you just get lucky or when you mess up I'm kinda in the opposite situation as you. decent aim for my rank, but my game sense is terrible, you'd think I'm in iron or something. these clips of you killing people through walls, smokes, without gun out, caught off guard? that's all me, except even worse. I know I should isolate 1v1s, but in game, I just get impatient and I wide swing a lot 😂😅
just the commentary alone is valuable. you should do a commentary series walking people through your reasoning and decision making. I think a lot of players struggle with that--- more than aim. hope you blow up dude!
everyone should inspire to play like this a mix between coming up with best fight styles like the spectre or putting yourself in easier positions like on lotus yoru awesome vid
I'm an immortal 3 player with mild to moderate tremors (depending on a variety of factors) in both of my hands and this really resonated with me. I'd say I lose one third of my duels because of my wrist locking up and or shaking and losing most control of my hand. I've peaked 400rr by just trying to play as unexpectedly as possible. Sure I know I'll never hit radiant because of this dumb condition, but I've learned how to make the best of my situation and adapt my playstyle.
i watched this video and looked at views plus likes, and thought I'm not seeing right. this is top tier content and guide in one, it's amazing and deserves way more attention! great job!
Finally someone that actually thinks about the game, and doesn't upload the 999th jett montage against silvers. Your skill of explaining your methodologies and thought process is INVALUABLE in not just in valorant, but in all aspects of life. Much respect bro.
Love this style of video, first time finding your channel and definitely subscribing. Would love to see more of these educational videos, I'm relatively new to Valorant and would love to learn to be better.
Amazing video really appreciate the fact that u dont say the same generic stuff as everyone else but you show that you dont have to have tenz's aim to get to a high rank. Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed the video!
“I just whip it” Only advice i needed this video LMAO. On a serious note, thanks for keeping it real and providing a refreshing take in an overly saturated space of “How to get better at Valorant” videos. Learnt some stuff today for sure.
This was great! I am trying to get better and I really like this informational format. It really helps me understand game sense from higher level players
me as a low elo watching this guy casually explaining like a friend, i really appreciate it;; the vid really helps understand the thought process on how to read the game and play it out in situations. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this! Im Asc 2 peak brim main and this is exactly the kind of playstyle I operate, so this video really makes me feel that my playstyle is validated haha. I am outaimed by golds and plats quite because of sheer inconsistency but I always find it hard to explain how I got to my rank without feeling the impostor syndrome, so thank you 😅
Basically, you also need game sense and a proper understanding of every situation in every round to win. Not just pure aim. Loved the video! It's really informational and helpful. Keep it up!
Hey man, just found this and its the first video i watched of yours. I found it really helpful as a new player. Again, really enjoyed this more educational style, keep it up man, u got a new sub!
People like you are hidden gem, I have been playing from Episode I Act II and still stuck at silver 3 to gold 2. Partly because I use an office mouse and keyboard and barely get past 6- fps but more because of my aim. But when i feel my aim is off, I dump all my util (I either play brim, omen or kayo) and try to lurk. Well, bring some more of these and btw I subbed
Thank you for that Video. I think I learned alot from it. I'm a low silver player and also in the situation of me not having any aim (worse than iron), but having more game sense then the average silver player and I have problems ranking up. Thank you so much for these tips. Only thing I still hate is like every random I'm playing with has absolutely no brain, no comms and doesn't think about how to play
