Who am I? My name is Arun, I’m a junior doctor working in London and graduated from Cambridge University 2 years ago. I’ve helped 100s of students over the last 10 years or so get into med school with things like personal statements, picking uni choices, the UCAT & BMAT exams and medical school interviews. I was the lead UCAT & BMAT tutor for Kaplan Test Prep for 5 years and helped write their materials. I started up a company called Easy Medical Interviews to help students for their medical school interviews. I’ve decided to put all my experience over the years onto RU-vid now so its completely free for you guys and hopefully you find it useful!

I work for the ambulance service and I've always wondered why we differ so much in our history taking - no just between hospital vs pre-hospital but between individual staff members. The vast majority of staff of varying skill levels will have a wide range of different ways of history taking and writing it on a PCR - you can get technicians that can do better paperwork than a paramedic, then you can get some people who don't follow any of this and write a paragraph of random symptoms and examination findings all mixed up with no consistency. While some of this video is irrelevant to pre-hospital medicine, it's given me a lot of insight and will hopefully help me improve my patient report forms.
