I love CAWPILE and have been using it for about a year now. It's so helpful when you write reviews too, because it gives you specific things to focus on. That being said, I really need to know who murdered Papa Blue!

I cannot believe only found your channel since being in lockdown. You have given me the OWLS, a bi monthly book read club and now this! Oh my god, this system satisfies my organizing self! I am definitely gonna use the spreadsheet. I always thought the de goodreads way wasn't helpful in many ways, and this definitely is. It is also gonna help me a lot to think more through about what I really think of the books.

Okay, now this is a great outline to help structure my book reviews. Maths was never my strong point so I'm happy the spreadsheet will fix all of that. I have subscribed to your youtube channel. I know that this video is old but this is evergreen content as it is still relevant. Great stuff!

(I rate my books purely based on how I feel right after I finish them - I guess I read too many books that would not fit into a well-structured rating system haha). Just opened RU-vid, saw you had a new video out and actually said “yay” out loud because I love watching everything you put out and I am so excited to see an updated version of this! 💜😍💜 Edit: Now that I’ve watched I can’t wait to download the spreadsheet. It’s very similar to the tracker I just put in my bujo for the new year, lol. I’ve used CAWPILE for a few books but plan on using it exclusively for rating this year! :)

Thank you for this spreadsheet! I've been rating on a system similar to this for years now...and I really like yours, especially the acronym. I've been working on my own spreadsheet but I'm terrible with the formulas. I've incorporated this into mine that I have...I think I'm going to love it. I just have to retrain myself to think of my ratings on a scale of 1-10 instead of 1-5.

Dude, your CAWPILE video is the video of yours I've watched the most. Literally have it linked in the hotbar of my browser. I am so glad you made this! Cawpile seemed rather intimidating initially but it's so easy and I think it'll help me rate my books better as I'm far too easily swayed to give things an easy 4/5 star based off of just random feels when I finish it.

This is super helpful! I always felt like star ratings were really arbitrary so this will help me figure out a good way to rate books for Goodreads. Edelweiss uses a system similar to this for their ratings when you give a review. You put so much work into this spreadsheet, thank you so much for sharing it with everyone for free!

I have been using this system since last year, it's amazing! I only changed it a bit to make each category weighted (enjoyment has more weight than logic, for example). I have my own spreadsheet, but this one helped me so much, I learned new things from it to make mine more efficient! =D Thank you so much for sharing this!

I am so excited to check this rating system out. I have been needing some better structure when it comes to rating my books. On my copy of the sheet, I switched the POC author for if the book was a reread. I think that will be more useful for me. I already plugged in the book I finished today. So this was great timing. Looking forward to using this for 2020.
