Awesome tutorial Sam, stumbled on you after watching some of Charley P's videos (saw him looking at your work as well in a video earlier, what a buzz you must have got with that one). Anyway buddy, quick question mate if I can ...................... I know this tutorial was not intended for printing, but how do you think it 'would' print if you did get it done? I suppose the question I have is regarding the clouds at the rear of the chair. A few designs I have done have not turned out too good when printing with DTG, because of the white base layer going down first. Any tips on this? Of course, it would be great on a white t-shirt, but when a darker colour is used, the white base layer goes down first ................... which can throw the design off then. Stay safe buddy.
Thanks very much for checking out my channel! Regarding the clouds your right they wouldn’t be ideal to DTG print. I would probably find an alternative way of doing the clouds in that case.
You could get a similar effect but I found in illustrator I couldn’t get the extrusion layer to fit behind the original text layer very well. It would always distort the original shape too much and was visible behind the original text.
@@samwheeler658 hi again buddy. I was asking about the file extension used for the print on a tshirt. So, once you make a design in PS, what file extension do you use for saving it in order to print it on a tshirt. Hope that's clear :D
