I tried using Nair and it worked on one side of my face, however, the other side of my face was left marked with a huge white spot, way paler than my skin tone and it was so rubbery that makeup wouldn't apply on it. It only went away after a month.. Although, now it's gone & hair doesn't grow back in that area. I suggest if using Nair on your side burns, apply it in a smaller portion that way if the same happens to you, the white spot won;t be as big or noticeable. And leave it on for only 3 minutes if you have sensitive skin.

It makes me so happy to see more and more people talk about this openly. I think people who deal with this wouldn't go through as many lows if people just shared their experiences more. I started going through this at 13 and definitely felt like I was alone and some kind of "freak". I've recently shared my experience on my channel too, and I honestly feel for empowered by it!

i feel ya girl :) i'm indian and we get so hairy, i actually just started full body hair removal as well...not going to lie couple few sessions are painful but its temporary vs waxing all the time, i'm from toronto and the place i go to uses an IPL laser which is the newest form of laser to come out i believe, IPL works best for lighter skin and darker hair, i have thick black hair and my skin gets super light in the winter time which in my opinion is the best to start laser. I did a lot of research before picking anything so look around online as well :)

***** Really!? Wow. I want laser on my thighs because the skin is very sensitive and every time I shave is horrible. Also, I would do laser on my face. Is not that bad but ever since I was diagnosed with thyroid issues, the pill made my hair worst :(

***** i did my underarms, back, abs, legs and bikini, as for my underarms i didnt have that problem occur, i also use to have pigmented underarms and for me i ended up losing the dark pigmentation which was a huge positive for me

I've tried nair on my legs back in high school and it burned so much and I've been scared of it ever since.. I've been using the little blade on a stick sold at walmart but it's really rough on my face.. Thanks for this video I will try this out! Btw u r beautiful without makeup

In videos like this one makes me feel closer to you, you're gorgeous and super sweet, Dulce. I have pretty dark hair as well and quite abundant, but despite the pimples it gives me, waxing is still my preference since it lasts longer. Any cream I've tried would irritate me like there's no tomorrow, never tried threading and have the same opinion about shaving :P

I switched over to laser couple of years ago and it's been the best decision I ever made. My sideburns were gone after the second treatment and never came back. Still working on some hormonal hairs but they take a bit longer to treat. Highly recommend it.

Karen Ussene I was thinking the same thing, especially that she mentioned she has really dark hair - laser works best on darker hair. I know it can be costly but when you add all the money we spend on regular hair removal anyway, plus the pain and ongoing hassles, laser definitely works out better on in the end :)

lovelylikax3 for me personally, it completely got rid of lip hairs and sideburns; I can say I now get one or two strands once like every 6 months. With my chin, because it's hormonal, it's a bit more stubborn but I still got around 70% reduction; I just go for maintenance treatments now every 10-12 weeks. My skin where my sideburns were did lighten only cos the sideburns would leave a dark shade; when the hairs went, my skin just lightened up and blended with the rest of my face so yeah very happy :)

Question, is this similar to shaving where it just gets the tips of the hair and not the hair underneath? Cause my problem with shaving is that it grows back thicker and darker, and I don't want that happening to my face!

That isn't acne. It is razor burn. Make sure you dampen the area before shaving and I recommend a sensitive shaving gel. And be gentle when you shave!

It grows back exactly as it were before. It is just a mistake that people think that, when you use a razor to remove your hair you are cutting the hair end flat (instead of a tip) which makes them appear more thick (: but when you remove the hair with wax the hair grows back normal (:
