I’ve been a DIY Diva. I reminisce about my short cut when I watch your videos. Ever since I mastered styling my own hair and doing my own makeup, I have been able to save a significant amount of money.
I bleachex my hair for the first time last month. I used the sweet n low. And i had no burning at all. It just felt cool to my scalp when i apllied the mixture to my hair
Love your videos. I first saw your video on platinum hair a year ago.. and fell in love. I have a white patch naturally in the front and was exhausted with coloring the grey in my head. So I just figured...let's stop resisting and just move towards what my hair was already doing. I have a round face and we are about the same complextion. ..so I was like if she can...I can too. I tell you, I've never gotten so many compliments. I don't regret it on darn moment. I don't think I will ever go back. Thank you for being an inspiration to me as I transition into my mid 50s with confidence. Heck..I look younger with the platinum. I went to a dinner with my mom recently and got so many compliments I came home and told my husband. Dude...your wife is beautiful..of course his response was "I knew that before I married you." 😆
Thank you soo much for your content - I am a platinum baddie like you and I think I have mastered my own technique finally by watching your videos! Thanks so much sis ❤
Thanks for sharing.. You could straighten your hair beforehand and then put in k18 and you can just get to the roots for when you don't want to cut your hair. Guy tang has a high lift bleach that is good
Hi there, I watched your video tonight wanting to change my reddish copper hair to Platinum. I'm going gray too much to keep dying my hair. I think it's time to just go all the way platinum. I want to tell you, You hair looks fabulous. I love it. So, I'm going in. Thank you for being brave enough to help an older Gal out! Blessings stay safe, and again You look Awesome
Girl you did that!! Wow! I’m so inspired to try this. I’ve never colored my hair lol and 90%of my hair is gray lol I’m scaredddddd but I’m going to try 🩶🩶
So wow! Excuse my ignorance, but that kinda ends up like a relaxer for you!? You look amazing!! I’m a recent buzz cut gal, but white with generally straight hair..
@@DWOODMUA I was going to ask how is it so straight after bleaching your hair? Mine is never that straight after I bleach my hair. I’ve been trying cling blonde for over 2 years now. So is it because you leave it on so long that makes it super straight?
You can use a 10 vol with equal parts lightener and developer under a processing cap and get the same results. Reason: when you fee pour the power is off so if you have more developer than lightener that makes the strength weaker... 1:1 is the strongest meaning 2oz:2oz vs 2oz lightener : 4oz developer isn't the maximum strength and no scale needed you can use a measuring cup or a container to make sure you get equal parts...hope it helps
I used to only process once and go straight to toner but I think I have to accept that’s not gonna cut it no more 😢 lmfao thank you for showing your process and the hacks! (I’ve never tried sweet n low.. might have to) Also LOL the comment about the Vaseline on your knees❤😂
GIRRL !!! you ate dowwwwn!! I am using a strawberry milk toner, would you still recommend I use purple shampoo w hair masque or hair masque and 30 developer ?
Hi, Ms.Dwood, that's so fly ,you did that!! It's been a while since I been on your platform. I did cut all of my hair off, like 2 months ago and I went platinum. I'm happy that I came on this morning and while you were teaching your viewers about starting the whole process over just cut it off, because it is a lot of work maintaining bleached hair. Anyways I have to go out and buy some hair clippers 😅❤. Dwood as soon as I can figure out how to set up a platform for me. I will definitely be doing tutorials or videos. Happy new year and God blessings ❤😊
Hey Dwood love your videos. Have you have did the technique of doing two applications no washing. So it’s the scrape method u scrape the bleach off after processing then u reapply 2nd application. I’ve seen someone do it and wanted to know if u tried it
I’ve done this in the past but it’s been a couple years lol. I think I have a video of me using this method. I might try it again, I’ve been seeing it circulate around the community
Thank you!🤍 I just find toning shampoos/toning masks to be a bit easier and I get my desired look. I’d rather use a toning shampoo rather than having to process my hair for a fourth time.
Where can I purchase the blonde solutions liquid toner. I’m having difficulty finding it or can you suggest another toner in its place? Thank you Ma’am
Mine didn’t either UNTIL I started working the product in. Like you work a perm in. But, just be gentle. Also, I use a gentle bleach which allows me to bleach 3 times(last bleach i do a day or two later) and moisturize in between.
@@gailwebb6046why not run to apply relaxer on your hair a few days before bleaching. It should get it straight. As well, use durag to keep it laid on your scalp and apply blow dryer. It should sustain your hair straightening
I like your application method because I have short thick hair and trying to use an applicator is a nightmare. My last bleach was so patchy!! Ftr, Nobody cared except me. Let me get these gloves and slap this bleach on my head for the one time!
I'm not understanding that.... my hair is thick and coily but it doesn't come out like a relaxer after bleaching. Oh how I wish it would. Wondering what we are not doing?
This is crazy… I cant get my hair away from the brassy tone no matter how many bleach sessions I have. I bleached my hair twice with 30 volumer. And still brassy. I used the purple shampoo and still nothing. What am I doing wrong?
Do you use a toner? I was having the same issue but I went into Sally's beauty and talked to a colorist there. I've learned that everyone's hair is not "one size fits all" She gave me some recommendations on the correct toner to use. She also talked about the "color wheel" It helped a lot!
