Approximately, how far does each strand go into a silicone doll head and how does it stay? I've never brushed my dolls hair, but I see many who do and also wash it.

Me to cant grab one hair, wish i could use this method, look how fast and how neat it is! All i know is if the needle isn't held correctly you wont root one single hair. Tell me about it lol !

As long as it is sealed, a simple brush should be fine. If it's not sealed from the inside, the hair will come out no matter how gently you brush it. I hope that helps you ❤️❤️❤️
I have a ivita silicone doll I am not able to afford a high end doll. I would like to get hair put on her and change her eyes. Would you be able to root her for me? How can I get ahold of you
I bought an Ashton Drake doll with the worst hair I have ever seen. It looks like a used up brillo pad. Can you redo it? Or do you do that. I love watching you guys together. I'm 70 and I'm constantly watching your channel. Thanks Jackie. My best to you both. Marcia
The hair is beautiful but it was those lashes that blew me away. I have never seen them done so well. Most look too long in the inner corner. Eyelashes are naturally shorter on the inner corner near the nose and then gradually sweep longer toward the outside corner. But I have seen 3k dolls that have eyelashes that are like soldiers lined up in a row from the inside corner to the outside and all the exact same length. The one thing that art can't capture (or at least I have never seen it in a doll) is the way the lashes clump together in sections that taper to a point. I see it in babies and some adults as well as fake eyelashes, but not everyone has lashes like that but it is a very pretty growth pattern, and I wish I could figure out how to make it happen. Still these are the prettiest I have ever seen. And not all human baby lashes taper in those clumps that I admire in real life these couldn't look more natural.

Wow Jackie the speed at what your rooting is amazing yet you are only grabbing one hair at a time through a bunch of hair. I noticed to you are aiming the needle straight and not slanted yet the hair isn't sticking straight up like it would if you did this on a vinyl doll.
Jackie I think any kind of tutorial you do is mesmerising to watch so whatever you have in mind just go ahead and do it but I would love to know how to root a little sparse around the face and temples and have the rest of the hair thicker as I always do thick hair all over the head
I've seen people say anyone that has a silicone needs to learn how to root so they can touch up areas where the hair is most likely to fall out. What do you think about that?

Wow just wow your work is amazing! Is it possible that you can reroute and Ashton Drake dolls head? I don't like the dolls hair it's synthetic and turning coarse right away
The hair can come out if you pull it out. That's why you have to be gentle. And, as a silicone rooter, I make sure I push the hair with the needle as deep as possible, so the hair doesn't come out so easily. I hope this helps :)
Wow look how quick you root that hair, you make it look so easy, i find it very hard to root one hair even from the middle with a fork needle, to do this from the end like you do is amazing, no doubt this is the best method if one can master it of course.
