oh my gooooooooshhhhh! I'm so stunned I can barely type! This is literally the most exciting and surreal experience as I sit here admiring you and feeling so inspired. And WHAT?!!!! The opportunity of a lifetime to meet you and your amazing team in person. I cannot believe it!!! SO excited. (and actually quite terrified) !!!Thank you!!! wow wow wow
Please let us know WHY you watch these vlogs in the comments and WHAT you want to see more of next. One favour, support us by hitting like and in return, we'll keep making these better and better! So much to talk about in this one! Let’s discuss below! - Steven xxx
I feel like I am part of your team!... Most importantly it keeps my focus when others around me don't get my drive and ambition for what I do. I frickin love them and have been listening to your podcasts since 2018! They got me through cardio at 5.30am!
WHY: I watch these videos because it does what it says. Shows you a peak behind the scenes, answers the curious question that a lot of people have “how does he do all of this?”. WHAT I LOVE: Really appreciate the direct vlog approach in the edits with the blend of production, gives it a closer feeling. WHAT I WANT TO SEE MORE OF: More insights into the types of things you’re unable to get done. How do you know when to say no, why do you cancel meetings & what do you do to ensure you’re prioritising your calendar in advance? (If it even happens
I love watching these videos they are inspiring motivating your the best person on the Internet fof me right now thanks to you I've started upcycling furniture you gave me the motivation to try something new and it took off fast so thank you
I enjoy these vlogs as they remind me that the late hours and sacrifices will be worth it. 🤯✌🏼Surrounded by incredible people, "I believe I can fly." 👻
I keep coming back to watch the behind-the-scenes because it's just soooo interesting and eye-opening. Don't stop posting, please, it's too good to end. About Will.... I think he's wearing grey.
Great insights on achieving work-life balance, especially the 'Planned Pleasure' tip. For entrepreneurs, remember that integrating short, focused periods of work with frequent breaks (the Pomodoro Technique) can skyrocket productivity without burning out. And never underestimate the power of saying 'no' to low-impact tasks to protect your time and energy.
GREEN 💚 I absolutely love your podcasts. As a new mum in 2021 and covid being very much top conversion, my mental health suffered so badly and since then I've been learning about how the human body operates, how to learn in and listen to yourself and general overall health. Your podcasts have made learning so much easier. Keep doing what you are doing, I'm just one tiny voice out of millions you have helped ❤❤❤❤
Indigo ! I've recently made research about Joe Dispenza and found your interview with him and since then i can't stop watching your RU-vid channel it's very inspiring. Instead of scrolling or stressing about my day, now every morning while eating i'm listening to your podcast im obsessed about it it's really good quality content thank you very much for this. It makes me think about project in my personal career that ive never thought about before because i thought it was impossible but the inspiration you give is powerful. Thank you for your work!!
First I've gotta say I watch the videos because they are entertaining. Beyond that, I love to get a sneak peak into Steven's life, management style from teams to personal life. I also get to learn what things should be prioritize and see the subtle implementation of those priorites in life and business. I'm extremely grateful for the content and incredibly excited to see the continued growth of the channels and the team! As far as the color, I've gotta say Will/William is probably wearing A brown/beige color. Somewhat of a muted tone.
I took a head break from my passion project over the last few weeks because I'd run out of money and energy to keep working on it full-time, but watching your videos makes me feel inspired to get back on the horse, to align my dreams with the meaning and purpose I find in the work and keep pushing. Thanks Steven. I needed the healthy nudge today!
Purple - It's great seeing behind the scenes and I feel this productivity episode is very relevant to myself as I run my own agency from home, so need to stay on top of myself at certain times throughout the day, to be at my productive best!
The ripcord is an excellent device. My previous life as a trauma counsellor (not having the luxury of a PA) I would staple several pages of my diary together. This stopped me booking any new clients in and to schedule existing clients after my mental health days. Apart from sleep I found this the single most effective behaviour to keep me enjoying my work. I would do this every six to eight weeks. saved me having to cancel appointments 🎉
These episodes are like a reset pill for me! Learning about your journey and taking notes on all your tips is changing my life to some scary fast paced levels. It s so relatable and easy to dive in, the editing has a great balance between deep and day to day moments, just brilliant format! Shirt color is pale green + orange🧩🍊
Will has done a phenomenal job in building out this RU-vid channel! It is inspiring to see you both showcase this story - keep it up! My guess is he is wearing grey!
I think the colour is Brown. I love your videos, they make me feel like I can also do it all. The passion for what you do is palpable. I love my life and my job, watching your videos make me appreciate it even more. Thanks, Steven!
Wow Wow Wow... I 100% agree with Busta Rhymes - You are such a great interviewer who is empathetic, delicate, warm, human and smart. This is exactly what makes people to warm up to you and truly open up cause this creates a safe space. Thank you for being you ❤❤👏👏
I’m gonna say purple for the man behind the Behind the Diary! Still think about that line from your last episode “haunted by my potential” - you put into words something I’ve always felt.
Hey DOAC Team! I’m watching these series because when I’m learning from YT videos about entrepreneurship, they often provide the great value, but don’t set the right emotional expectations. If they tell you it’ll be hard, it’s hard to imagine what hard feels like. I watch these series because by not cropping this “boring”, low information content of behind the scenes you are helping me to set the right emotional expectations. You are helping me see that I’m not the one who is experiencing this. And let’s go with color Pink
These are truly ground breaking vlogs, seeing the REAL real. Thank-you! From my Corporate desk I find your life FACINATING! Old school conditioning left me feeling like I am not the person who can live an "entrepreneurial" life, so much that I don't have a clue what my "thing" is. If only I could have experienced this kind of insight in my teens. Not too late though, just digging to find my "thing" ❤. My heart is so happy for your South African experience, from a South African. Despite our social and political problems, this place is magic!! I truly hope you felt it! 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 #proudlysouthafrican
20.20 onwards about pulling the ripcord - canceling everything. And the reason we don’t is because we are letting people down, but in actual fact we’re letting ourselves down if we don’t pull that rip cord. Loved this.
I watch the vlogs because i like to see the ins and outs of your life as a successful entrepreneur and CEO. It’s inspiring to see how you prioritize and manage your day whilst being real about your feelings and emotions throughout the process. Your authenticity shines through and busta said it best. You make people feel comfortable just by being you. You and your team live up to that high expectations that the podcast keeps aspiring to reach again and again. Well done to you all. Also, your cameraman is wearing a GREY colored shirt.
I listen to the DOAC every week in the hope to learn something new that I can apply to my life. I’ve never watched an episode where I haven’t learned something new or taken away something useful. Also I just like Steven’s positivity and energy for life. Listening to behind the diary or a podcast is a great way to start or end my day. Thank you for sharing and caring😄🙌
Williams top color is orange. I’m watching these vlogs because I love to learn ways in which I could possibly find or create ways/a career for myself while I also make an impact. For example I’d love to be a sort of coordinator working with DOAC team but location does not permit. It opens my eyes to what I could look for out there. I support you all in all that you do also! Thank you for using your talents this way!
As a South African now living in London, it was weirdly comforting seeing you share at an event in the motherland. Always love your podcasts and now vlogs! Thanks for sharing. My colour guess for William’s shirt is green.
Great to see content that acts as a way to both learn and develop your own habits/skills as well as at the same time being a form of entertainment which acts as a rest from work. Colour of top: Grey.
Hi Steven! The reason why I watch your video’s is because it so inspiring to see the live you life and the lessons you teach. What i especially really liked about this episode is the vulnerability, and the sincerity with proof that everyone needs breaks. Seeing you enjoying in Africa, without any regret or anything, is the proof of that. And the colour is of Williams top… orange.
The color is light grey The color is light gray I watch (and share) the videos because, at the moment, it’s simply the best encyclopedia in the world, and it’s live!! And you are the best teatcher!!
I have a late (female) diagnosis of severe ADHD and I love all of your content. However, I simply cannot watch your full DOAC full episodes because they are too long. I love the short versions and Behind the Diary. Keep up the great work
I'm OBSSESSED with Behind the Diary - please never stop making these videos!!! Seriously though, Steven is GUINNESS!! I feel like William is wearing Grey :):)
Brilliant! Your way of talking out of your own experience and showing a young audiens (well a lot of older people too as they are no wiser) that you are smart about your choises. You work smarter not harder and take care of both body, mind & soul! Plus at the same time having a ball! Loove this ❤️
I think Will is wearing orange! 😄 My favorite part of this episode is when Steven briefly touched on his remote/in office policy and mentioned he sent an email to his team about it. I would love to learn more about his take on in office / remote / hybrid operations or even see the email if it doesn't have any confidential info in an upcoming diary! Thanks for always approaching these vlogs with transparency and creativity! It's a great joy to watch every week!
I watch these vlogs as soon as I see them. The insight into someone who is living their life to the fullest is incredible to see. Learning skills and how you carry yourself is very value. In particular I would like to see from the next sporting individual on the podcast: how they deal with pressure before a game/event? Another thing that could be fresh & cool to look back on is if Steven took a Polaroid with every guest or famous person he works with. It would make for a sick book with all the photos. 🔥🔥 Hopefully colour is beige but it could be white striped grey bodied and navy upper section Tommy Hilfigure Jumper?
Your vlogs and podcast literally motivate and push me to work harder and it’s always a treat to see you strive for your vision steven! P.S I think the cameraman is wearing Purple / Violet 🙈
Next time you coming to South Africa I'm going to interview on my podcast, I believe in growth and Gods timing, I watch your vlogs because that's where I get inspiration, as an African kid growing up in a township it's not easy making it simply because of lack of resources, it's your vlogs that keeps me going 🥺😞 i will never rest till I meet you and your team. ❤️🤞🏾🕯️🕯️ 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Hey DOAC team and Steven, thanks for bringing out this content each and every week amongst all the other things you do. Love the insights and little nuggets tussled into your story telling ability… Colour = Purple
I watch the Vlogs because I love getting a sense of Steve's day-to-day and what makes the Podcast tick...Maybe I'm weird, but, I think I would love to see how Steve and the team deal with failure (setbacks) and mistakes. I'm HORRIBLE to myself when I've experienced a setback and I would love to see how such a high performing person and/or group deal with that or even hear what you're failing at. I'm hoping there are some tips that you can share that selfishly I can apply to my own life. Keep the Vlogs coming! :) P.S. I think Will is wearing a GREEN shirt.
I watch these Vlogs because I want to learn what's possible and how to do things. We have 24 hours in a day with full time jobs, exercise and social life, quite static and standard routine. However we all have dreams, projects we want to start, people we wanna meet and collaborate with. Your vlogs make me think that I can act on those ideas and dreams. Besides that, you give very practical suggestions here, that I can apply at work and on my side gigs. Hope this helps
The colour is grey! Just really appreciate how much advice you give out in each video FOR FREE! Alway watching, would like my son to win as the experience would be a game changer for him, thanks
I'd disagree with what you said about sleep but maybe it was a slip of the tongue: "for some people it's not a must have". I think what you meant to say is that some folks don't get as much as others and they can survive with less sleep (as is the case for a lot of parents with young children). Completely agree with that sentiment and we need to get what we can in such circumstances. Great that you are supporting whoop. Big fan.
So excited you were in SA - hope you and your partner had a great time -isn’t it beautiful. I wish I could have seen you😢. It has always concerned me that you could burn out - feel a bit better about it now. You are still a baby at 31 so please adjust and reduce as you get older and have regular checkups. I know in sound like your Mum 😊 but it is exactly what id tell my grown up sons. It is not compulsory to work this hard day after day. I hope you pay your PA well - she will be super stressed when you cancel for the day! 😮. PS I think you are amazing ❤
Great episode again! Thanks for sharing your life and energy, Steven. Awesome to see your humanity showing throughout all your business endeavours! Until the next... color for competition: Baby Blue
I was actually preparing my passport, as I believed my last comment would win hah - but it's okay, I will again this time. I am betting on... GREY! I am so happy I found You, as a young individual, that's just starting her entrepreneurial career, I feel blessed I can witness your work, get inspired and learn so much. Not only because of the podcast, but also seeing the raw life of an entrepreneur, whose values are similar to yours. I AM THANKFUL, and I can't wait to see what the future brings. 🙌 P.S. If possible, please choose and exact hour of publication - I check every Sunday evening if the YT video came out, and I feel like the timing is different every week.
Loving the tips on this episode…. Tip 1 and planned pleasure is such a personal reflection point. Thank you!! Since the Prof Holmes ep of DOAC, I have been so strict on sleep and treated it as a non-negotiable. I have also relayed across my colleagues (UK and India) the impact of 45 min sleep debt on executive function up to 10% against psychological safety for direct reports. Thank you again!!! William’s colour of top guess…… Peach. Fingers crossed. Thank you.
Just loved this new episode! These vlogs to me are both educational and entertaining. Love to learn from the best and the best work hard and play hard. So important to see how you prioritize sleep, which is something I consider a foundation too. Would love to see even more of the interaction with your team, you seem to me like the best boss ever. Oh and as I'd love to experience this myself: the color shirt the cameraman is wearing is light grey.
my guess is.....yellow. Love your videos Steven, you continue to inspire every single day (I'm of course referring to the DOAC Videos as well). Keep doing what you're doing, I can honestly tell you you're making a difference in people's lives
Whoa, those 23 minutes felt like 5 minutes! I'm going to guess the colour to be brown although I'm pretty sure I'm wrong. Love these videos, keep doing what you're doing!
Another great episode! Looks like you enjoyed your trip to SA, nice to know you were somewhere in my neck of the woods! Oh, and I think he's wearing grey.
This is amazing! Thanks you so so much for all the tips! I am also proudly South African now living in the UK 😁 Guessing the camera man’s colour shirt…I think he is wearing orange 😁
I absolutely love these videos, it gives a great story of your life behind everything you are doing. It motivates me to do more for myself and work. I would love the chance to one day meeting you and spend even 1 hour with yourself, you’re such a driven person that I aspire to be like. It was nice to see a glimpse of you “off work” too, everyone needs time to stop, rest and reset! Keep up the amazing content… I’m #MadeByDyslexia - expect BIG thinking & small typos…
