Loving all these saving/finance contents recently for 2021. Last year we listened to your advice and we reserved our new build which is due to completed May this year. Thank you, thank you and thank you x
Your finance videos are very much wanted and your knowledge shines through. I’m an older subscriber, 46, with my own flat, but I still find this motivating and inspiring. I would love to progress to a small house and will follow your tips. Would love to do RU-vid but that’s really for the younger generation but will save where poss. Thank you x
I'm 40 and watch lots of RU-vid videos I don't think age matters. If the content is good it doesn't matter if people are 20 or 60 in my eyes. Do it! 😊X
That's an amazing amount while having a mortgage, car payments and everything else going out. Thanks for highlighting that having a side hustle helped you to do this.
Another great video as always Hazel! Right now as we speak I have almost finished paying off my credit card which has taken me 2 years to clear. By the end of this month I’ll be credit card debt free and can now plan properly towards saving for my future! I was determined to do this and I didn’t give up! 🙌🏾
Good motivation thanks Hazel😊. I think it's good you mentioning about trying to increased your main salary. I think a lot of us get caught up with trying to do extras or save more but in a lot of cases this might actually be the most sensible thing to do. X x
I have worked in my full time role for the NHS for 3 years and have undertaken two qualifications, trained staff and always willing to do more! But in the NHS i've found it really difficult to progress and i have tried to apply for other higher roles, using my transferable skills, without success! I keep being told they may develop another role for me but its unclear, especially with the current situation! I also have a second job to top up my income but i want my main job to eventually be the main source of income 🙏🤞🙏 love your videos! xx
Another great video to kick start 2021. I am hoping to be in a position to buy my own property this year after years of saving, so these videos are greatly appreciated. Thank you Hazel
Already know this is going to be the most helpful video for me in 2021! I have watched this twice already! Genuinely one of the best videos I've ever watched! So excited to save and hopefully smash my side hustle of a RU-vid channel too! xxxxx
Great you broke down your savings target in two year slots of 20k then 40k. I set myself a 100k target in 5 years since I have started working. This is my fifth year and confident I will get there, may even get to the target early.
I think the part where you mentioned asking about progressing in your current role is important and shows eagerness. Also, I appreciate you not just talking about passive income which is considerate of our times right now. So hope to learn more knowledge from your videos, thank you!
I would love to know how you can move your salary up by 50-60%. I was in my Job role, taking on extra activities to stretch myself. Paying out of my pocket doing courses and I still didn’t see no more than a 4K increase in over 4-5 years.
I really struggle to save with the wage i’m on and I have a house / bills to pay for, the first year i struggled but this year I have less bills and debt and finally can start saving, I doubt it will be too much but every little helps! Loved this so much, so helpful! and you’re just so lovely 💜
Hazel, I have just found your channel and oh my goodness this couldn’t come at a better time! I am doing a YT side hustle and sometimes I feel a little bit disheartened. I will keep pushing on. Thank you so much and well done I’m your progress, you are absolutely smashing it 🎉 xx
I’ve completely had career change this year getting qualifications while working and always looking what next steps are for progressing in the career too can’t wait to start saving more money 💴
Hey hun! Don't worry I've been through the same struggle! Check out Instagram pages such as 0800resume, @recruiterbae, @ProgressingSteps , @gradvance etc!! They offer tips and tricks on how to smash interviews and I believe some even have websites.. hope this helps :)
Try out Push Far free mentoring platform :) I mentored a girl from there now she has landed a job with my support. I would say set up job alerts which you can do from Google. Indeed is a great platform and CV library. Really depends on the area you work within. Have you thought about getting some work with agencies? U never know could lead to a full time role depending on how you do at the company. Best of luck here is the link to Push Far you can even mentor on there also if you wanted to give back; www.pushfar.com/
This was super helpful! I've always been good at saving and saved a lot during 2020 but I never really consider trying to increase my income as a tactic. Thanks so much for this vid!💓
I think it also depends on your job and wage. I am very good at saving however, at the minute I am in a job where there is very little to no career progression and company I work for also do not support development in qualifications.
Then adjust your expectations and goals to your income and lifestyle. You can't expect to save 5 billion dollars in a week if you earn $10 a decade, sweetie.
Great video, would you do other savings tips. Currently trying to by my first flat on my own on a small wage(saving for a 15% deposit) but I am getting there slowly and hoping to get started with the morgage application by Feb. Would love to see other small savings tips and tricks. Love your videos xx
Brilliant video. Yes within current situation I'm holding onto my job, taking as much training to better myself. Also have been looking into online courses i can do that can help me progress. I don't want to give up on myself,i am still job hunting for something better. I love your videos. I even considered a weekend job to earn extra money to boost my savings pot and get on the property ladder.
Haha!!! Think to yourself - do you NEED IT? If you are replacing makeup you have ran out of its not so bad!!! But if its makeup you dont need do the 30 day rule!! Wait 30 days and see if you still wan tit
I am currently an accounts assistant and studying my accounting qualifications. I am looking into becoming a paraplanner, I was wondering do you think it would be reasonable to transfer from accounts assistant into? I like accounts but from what I’ve looked into I think para planning is something I would really enjoy! Love this video thank you!! ❤️
@@Thai.Farang because to most people, to be able to save this amount is significant when a majority of people struggle - so i was being sensitive to that fact to ensure them it was for education and not to rub it in their face
