Note-taking template: 1. Write your personal choice in a short phrase 2. Reason + example 3. Reason + example (Think outside the box and use real life situations)
it seems like there is a gross number of people on this platform who have scored above 116 it's a lil bit implausible tho I didn't mean to judge you but several things drive me crazy related to the ease of these tests which do not utterly interest me frankly speaking.
Hi Sybil , I recently received my TOEFL scores. I just had two weeks for preparation and I referred your videos for preparing. I'm very thankful to you, I got 26 in speaking and 27 in writing .
Hi dear, good evening, I know this might be coming late, however congratulations on your TOEFL scores. You really did well. I will be writing mine in 10 days, please could you help me with any preparatory materials you used. I am really short on cash and on a tight budget. Hoping to hear from you. Thank you
Thank you Sybil, your videos are great and really helpful! Could you share your strategies/examples for the other Tasks of the speaking (campus announcement/lectures)? Thanks again 🥰🥰
Your videos are so simple, but clear and full with information at the same time. Thank you so much for the guidance and for the work you put into those videos. Have a great day !
When answering the independent task, I find it impossible to think about supporting reasons and respective examples and take notes all in 15 seconds. By the time you grab the pencil and try to jot down something, the 15 seconds would have already passed
Hi! I wonder how could test takers improve their development skills for both writing and speaking. Personally, my main problem with both sections is the development but I'm note sure what it means and how to improve this skill.
I loved your tips, although I'm not confident that I'm gonna reach the score that I need to ☹when I'm at the practicing for the speaking section I know that I'm terrible 'cause I always get stuck, lacking ideas for the examples, sometimes I don't even know to give a reason, my mind goes totally blank. I think that this question 1 is the most difficult one, it makes me feel so nervous. I'll be taking the test this Sunday morning, let's see what I'll be able to do. Thanks for your video, it surely helped.
thanks sybil wang , more appreciate about your guide of toefl lesson i likely would like to hear about campus announcement , general to specific and academic lecturer
@@fiaschampion3379 Then my advice would be try to be a bit more explosive and don’t be scared of sounding stupid, let the words flow out of your mouth, practise, and you will do well!
I came back to this video to thank the creator. Sybil, you gave very good advice. I followed it and scored a 29/30 in Speaking. However, I could be considered an outlier as I worked in a profession that needs frequent public speaking in English. Having said that, this does not mean that I could simply start talking sense on any topic in just 1 minute. It came from the practice of using the techniques you mentioned in the video.
Hey Sybil thank you for the video 🎉 this makes things so simple and easy. Could you do the other questions on this section? I have a fear of public speaking I recently realized it after giving a horrible presentation of my project in uni, this section is really hard for me.😭 I'm also requesting for a guideline template for the writing section.
Hello. I am taking my TOEFL ina month. I would like to know which materials for TOEFL practice I should buy as there are so many materials on the TOEFL website
You’re so eloquent! Thank you for your valuable insights, your tips have been the only ones that have really helped me so far. I very much appreciate all of the resources you provide as well! I really struggle with the speaking section, especially tasks 2-4. Do you have any templates or tips for those? I struggle a lot with the integrated tasks because it’s difficult for me to listen and write at the same time, as well as effectively organize and present my notes. I also found that it’s much easier for me not to take any notes in the listening section! However, for the integrated writing and speaking tasks it’s almost impossible to go without it, which is why I’m so nervous to do them.
Thank you for making this great video! I am curious about how does templat help to link ideas. I always have a difficult time dilivering the information in a efficient and logical way for question 3 and question 4. It's going to be a big help for me if I can link all the information and ideas quickly. I hope you can introduce you templet for those 2 questions. Thanks!
Hey Sybil, Thanks a ton for your wonderful videos on TOEFL skills, please make a video on Reading some section as well, As I have difficulty on finding main idea and summarizing. Thanks in advance! Greetings and Love from Afghanistan! ❤️
Hello, Sybil! Really nice video, I enjoyed it a lot. I would really appreciate if you could make videos about all of the questions in the speaking section like you did on the first question 🙌
Hey Wang I going to altogether really on your 's template, since I really like and goes with may aptitude how ever I come across alot template. Thanks for your efforts 👌
Dear sybil, I am pretty sure that you have worked a lot to have such a score in the TOEFL. Please share some specific strategies that you used to boost your speaking skill. I would be grateful if you share you share your honest opinion about this. Also, let mention that you, as a non native speaker of english, have the best fluency and speaking skill. Plus, you have a good personality. Thank you dear Sybil
I found this video super helpful! And I would very much appreciate if you took the time to make a video about the other tasks on the speaking section. Please!!! Love, from Mexico
the toefl speaking section is the one i'm most nervous about. speaking's not really my strength, since i'm not a very fast thinker, which is not very convenient when i only have 15 seconds to structure my answer. i am good at listening and writing tasks tho, since as a non-native speaker, i always watch movies in english with no subtitles, and i love writing essays in general. so i made up a technique of what to say during the speaking task. Instead of searching for an example from my personal experience, which most of the time i can’t, i give an example from a movie or a tv show which i like, but i phrase it like it was an experience from my actual life. in the speaking section, no one really cares if your answer is true or not, you just have to support your choice. thank you so much for this video Sybil! ill try out the new note-taking template, i hope it will help me out💛
