no , never buy a macbook if you are ca student(writing this from my Macbook air m1 2020), most of the functions in ms excel does not work in macbook and main point that you can't take ca classes on macbook.

If you take online classes, you may require laptop (of course, there are classes that run on mobile, but laptop is advisable). In addition, if want to learn new features of excel (which may not be available in your firm's computers) or new software, it's better to have a personal laptop.

@@puneetmusre8554 hp 15s fq5007 TU (i3 processor) - if your budget is less than 50 k (Currently, I'm using this. Enough for CA students things- excel, word and PPT work, tally software, online classes etc.. if you can afford around 56k-60k then go for hp 15s fq5111TU (i5 processor) (My friend's using this...perfectly fine).
