For some people who dont have a printer, some drop offs will have a mini scan thing, and it will print a sticky label off for you there, you just need to scan a QR code, i wpuld recommend asking whoever works there if they have them just to double check :)

If the person who buys your things covers the cost of the postage, wouldn't printing a shipping label be charged towards them? Or can you just pay the label separate? Also, do we automatically get a QR code on Vinted that we could use? I haven't made my account yet but I'm trying to figure this out before doing so :,)

@athenaeverhart840 im unsure when my sister returned an item she bought of vinted she was given a QR code that would scan on the machine, after that it would print of a label and then you'd put it on your item, and thats the shipping. Also the buyers pay for the shipping so you dont need to worry about that :)

I looked into depop first but as a teen it’s a bit harder to use as you have to pay for the labels. The vinted app doesn’t tell you all these details, I was lost until this video. Thank you; this has been incredibly helpful. Just to clarify, am I correct in understanding that after selling an item, we should ship it to the buyer and then receive payment, or should the buyer pay for the item once we've accepted their offer, and then we proceed to ship it to them? Also, could you please explain how the buyers shipping details work - do they appear automatically or through another process? Thanks in advance!

I’ve large number of jewellery sets, some decoration pieces, deffo we all making some money, took hours to take best photos but today they’ve deleted my 60 brand new items that’s were on top telling me I’m using vinted as commercial purpose 😕 some items were paid to get insights, some items got 50+ favourites, some 30,20 And warned me to review my account again within 5 days they’ll suspend my account, so I’ve removed another 20 items that has low views 😒

depends If its cheap and the pictures are good It can sell on the day which happened to me soo many times at the beginning. But if your pieces aren't that trendy, the pictures arent great and the price is too high for the condition it will prolly take weeks or months to sell.

hi, so i plan on using royal mail to send my parcels, you said that i just drop it off at the post office, and the customer pays for it. how does the post office know they've paid for it like can i drop it off in those red post box things (i doubt theyd even fit in there so this option might be stupid) or do i take it to the actual post office where i give it to a person? if i have to give it to the person do i have to pay for it there or is there like something on the label saying the customer has paid? i know that the customer pays so if i have to pay for it there, would i just use the money the customer gave me for postage?

i think so. i’ve seen felted models made by the seller being sold on vinted. As long as it isn’t against the app guidelines i suppose you can sell handmade items too

You get a choice with evri you can choose if you want to print your own label a printable label or you can choose a digital label if you don’t have a printer just tell that you would like to drop of a evri parcel there should be a machine there so you can print the label

i'd just get small, medium and large bags for packaging. you choose the size of the item and then the customer will pay for whatever size it is!

I don't think so but you can write in the description collection only and write the area you are from. Ive seen people do this with wedding dresses and like HUGEE collections and sets.

there’s no real time frame! it can take days, weeks or months! if you want to sell things quickly tho i recommend re-listing it after 2 weeks

When you go Royal Mail etc do they ask you to pay shipping and then when u get the money it gives u the money for shipping once it’s been delivered

I don't have a printer been using yodle but the shop no longer takes packages so use inpost vary easy my 63 year old mother posted it for me u just show the qr code to the inpost screen or use post office I've been told evri do the same but not try them yet

they don’t really :) you just say “i want to post this please” and then they scan it and you get a receipt x

I always say “hi, can I post this second class please”. Then they ask if you need it signed for and I say no. They sometimes ask what’s inside and what’s the value. Say clothing. No need to be super specific.

there’s delivery instructions on vinted, if you go onto the chat with whoever you’ve sold the item to, there will be instructions for how to send it off
