Good bro I am already 54 and did this calculation 5 years ago, but you know just two years after starting my plan to retire at 60 I had a nasty accident. Then the doctor gave me my early retirement, you know now I get my pension and social security. I was already in the planning of my companies that took off last year. Now even at home my company is doing and on the right path, but if my situation does not improve my mobility I will be stuck at home with money sitting in the bank. Always put in mind the unexpected that might happen in life.
Brilliant vid. You are v funny. I always find myself chuckling... About investing...its a big subject w many opportunities. I like to keep money in more than 1 hard currency..ie Euros, USD, GBP. I like to hav everything at my fingertips on an App if possible on my phone. Offshore centres can be useful. Near you is Mauritius. My favourite would be Singapore. Brits like Jersey, Guernsey IoM etc..but they are in the UK banking system...Like you suggest I think its smart to set up a "machine" to give income ...anyway, it sounds like uv got it all figured out 😊👏👏 I'm hoping I can find you next week to discuss more.... It’s just a government promise and it’s eating away by inflation every day. The other problem is just say the USD collapses which is possible it’s not only possible. It’s guaranteed it’ll happen at some stage one day. It’s just figuring out when that day is but as soon as the USD collapses the euro own pound will collapse within an hour or so, I would guess on the back of it then all you’ve got is a load of toilet paper with the Kings head on it. currency by the US dollar euro and pound I simply a mechanism of exchange. I prefer work a little, then travel repeat. Of course I could work 10 20 years, invest and all that, but now mid twenties are my best years, aren't they
@@BMXPM I had such a fantastic time in my 20s it was so good that I could have died at the end of my 20s extremely happy after living a full life however I didn’t I’m still here in my 40s I love my 30s and i even loved my 40s the problem is the longer you leave saving for your future the more you’ve got to save as you get older and a big problem is at 48 years old I’m getting tired I don’t have it in me anymore to get on the tools and do a full eight hour shift. Work a little bit travel a little bit is a great fantastic life and maybe you could do it all your life and be extremely happy the problem is as you get older you want a comfortable life and you don’t wanna to start extra hours. if you can’t afford to save and travel most people would say cut back on travelling so that you can save a bit more, personally I would say increase your income so you can save and carry on with travel and holidays and living your life free and with the extra income you can just set it to save for the future. As for your 20s being your best years you don’t know what your dreams and ambitions or your family will look like, your whole life is going to be different in your 30s 40s 50s 60s and you’re gonna want different things that cost different amounts of money if you’ve got some money set aside it makes it a lot easier in the future
@@passivenomadsI guess it's not even so much about age, but more so about development in certain countries ie Thailand getting more westernised/expensive and I speculate it's about the same in other popular asean countries, maybe not so much in MG yet. Sounds like a sensible middle way work set something aside travel I might just do that, time will tell:)

That’s where I’m at at the moment I hope to 2x to £4m in the next 8 years then start drawing bigger and bigger amounts of money each year so I can literally buy anything any holiday and give my family anything they need. $2m in Madagascar is enough to live like a king 👑
Lived and worked in Madagascar for a few years. Love this country and its people for many different reasons. Still visit the country on vacation as I live and work on an Island closeby. Good word of advise I got one day from somebody and that I would like to pass on to whoever think about investing in Madagascar; "Never invest more than what you are ready to loose". I know one guy who was married to a local girl they even had a child together he bought Land built a house for the family obviously the house was in the wife’s name. He went to reunion for a month how many came back There was a Polish man living in his house with his wife and son the wife refused to let him back in. He packed his bags and went back to reunion he lost everything except the shirt on his back. If I lost everything £200,000 in Madagascar it would definitely hurt the heart, but it wouldn’t alter my life financially you have to know what percentage to put into Madagascar and what to keep in the west imo
I'm also old. Think to reach paradise for my 7-8 years left ahead. But paradise is unsure - no proprieties rights, no serious banks, no real infrastructure and development. It must be an adventure to arrive on 🏝️ and who know which will be the end. Too many vasahs I heard were disappointed by living there. I cannot know the reasons behind every situation, but I catch some voices. I need a plan to be there. My life is gonna be too short, so maybe wasting it for some time in Madagascar could be a good option. Trying to raise some children like Cairola could catalyse my presence, but questions are still remaining for a modest, not rich vasah...🤔🫤🫡
banks are good enough,it will not be your primary bank so who cares,visa works just fine i had glitch only once Madagascar is far from paradise,at least for most of people but could be for person who knows what he wants as you said you can't own property but you could rent and buying car or motor is not that dificult,albeit expensive you just need to know what is cheap in Madagascar and what expensive services,food,women,life in general cheap western life style,everything imported,western habits expensive don't think being just retiree without savings(i presume)can't be enough,of course it is it is just about your life style and how big sucker are you to be convinced to part with money everything is possible but not easy and could be rough,don't be pussy,for Madagascar you need to be tough but if you don't have mileage in 3rd world country maybe it is better not to come to Madagascar learning curve is just too steep
I know guys that have give up and gone home as Madagascar wasn’t for them I know others that love there life’s hear When I say welcome to paradise what I really mean is welcome to my life living in paradise is simply a state of mind Renting beats buying in Madagascar when it comes to money if you want to own property it’s best to buy in Europe rent out and then use a rental money to rent here as you should be better off and more secure.
@@danieleverywhere132 I am from Seychelles much better life living here than Madagascar. But if you asked me even with all the difficulties that I can face in Madagascar I would prefer to live 10 months there and 2 months in Seychelles. That is simple Seychelles just for me to relax, medical checkup, the rest here is just boring and expensive. Madagascar is full of life if you can adapt to the third world mentality, the tough environment most of all the hustle of the lives of their majority citizens.
